at current the website appears to be playing up for me and the character bios are not working

What are you guys talking about? I checked the site this morning and it was still Giants, so I wouldn't say anyone is late for anything...being temperamental and whiny...that pretty much sums up the previous four or five posts though.

At 6:00am Eastern Time it was updated.

Maybe, but when I hit it mid day I was still getting the Giants site. Apparently it took some time for the propagation across all servers. I'd also hardly call a few hours old news. I really wish no one would post anything for fear of retribution...would be fitting actually. It's not friendly and comes across as everyone being a bunch of snot nosed brats.

If you did some research you would find that that piece of information was already gathered by all of us hours ago in the first topic in this boards, if you can't research something, that's not my problem. If you need a topic for every bit of single information, then I'm afraid to tell you: this is not the forum for you!
Now stop calling people names when you don't even know who they are and learn that every single bit of information doesn't need a new topic, that's why we have the first topic "All we know about Swap Force", there, I listed the topic's name, if you want news, they're there, we say old news, because people who see that topic regulary know the news and of course then come hours later guys that don't know to view a topic and need to create a new one for a thing most users already saw thus making unnecesary topics.

The all we know about swapforce topic is too conveluted for me. I hate trying to pick information from 1 post when you have 20 that are just omg I luv this. Too much small talk and pointless chatter. I prefer the single to the point topics.

Just checked out the site, is anyone else very excited for Spy Zone or is it just me???

I agree. I appreciate these new threads as I stopped checking the top thread a while back as it was confusing and hard to follow on my phone. It was great when I first found this board.

I'm not calling anyone names; I'm calling how I'm perceiving board etiquette. There goes the board again with their gestapo type attitude. I'll tell you what. You don't tell me what I should do and I'll do the same. If all new news should be in the one thread, then I think the moderator should disallow new threads...otherwise everyone shut the trap if someone doesn't look somewhere for information--there are many that simply don't live here like some of you do.

The white elephant in the room in this discussion is that, unfortunately, the main/sticky thread for SwapForce news/information ( //forum.darkspyro.net/spyro/vi...ic=73348&page=1 ) became a chat room. There's still definitely some good actual information and reports in that thread. But let's be honest with ourselves ... that thread is over 130 pages long ... there's NO WAY all of that is factual information and credible reports. The OP of that thread is an exceptionally well done summary ... but asking a User to sift through 130+ pages (or even the most recent 10 pages) to find the "good stuff" is absurd.

So ... yeah, while in general I hope our Users will refrain from making lots of unnecessary duplicate threads (wishful thinking, I know) ... it's obnoxious that people would be miffed about the creation of a new thread in response to probably the most significant update to the official Skylanders website in 2013.

^It's been very useful, and I still look at both the beginning posts and scan the end from time to time...but now with the bulk of the information now out...it's going to be phased out in favor of the old favorite pastime of actually starting threads for stuff.

Did they remove all of the Giants part of the website?

^Yes, but supposedly you can access characters from all three games...lots of glaring errors notwithstanding of course.
