Pretty sweet, looks like they're giving one of the 5,376 away every 15 minutes of game period. It actually mentions you can get a max of 4 per household so it'd be possible to get more than one.

I think that's similar odds to the Flocked Stump Smash, right? In the least, it shouldn't be too hard to obtain one if you play early. The game officially starts today according to the rules, so..the bags should be out now?

No his art is diferently colored like all the other variants except Pumpkin eye brawl who's art is the same as normal eye brawl, and since this is a swap force contest they may have him coded into the game!

So, we can only assume that the Pumpkin Fright Rider is a Giants character that plays just like regular Fright Rider (ie no in game variant). This really makes no sense since FR hasn't been announced for Swap Force.

They can always repackage a character..

If this is the Flocked Stump Smash equivalent, then this is just some promotion and really doesn't count in terms of official gameplay characters which is my point.

It's either some sort of Swap Force in-game variant, a Giants "Special" variant, or a Swap Force "Special" variant.

Interesting....an In-Game Variant would be cool....but if its like the last Frito-Lay thing they did(Flocked Stump Smash)...i kinda dought it will be an In-Game Variant.

This is interesting. I would rather get the bags with codes to get the sidekicks, though. I've only picked up 2 bags so far of those. Trying to save money, so buying a bunch of chips is out of the question. I debated on even buying the first bag, but once we went through almost all of those and I found how handy it was to have some small bags of chips around the house to take for a snack or to the park, I decided to go ahead and buy another one. Not sure if I want to get any more, especially after my son was so excited about ordering Eye Small, but when he finally came in the mail, he entered the code into Lost Islands and then sat the figure to the side and hasn't played with it. He hasn't been playing Skylanders as much, lately, but he also just started Kindergarten and I can't believe the amount of homework he gets. Plus he gets frustrated because our 2 yo likes making a mess of his figures when he gets them out (including the ones on the portal) so it takes the fun out of it

The only "hope" for an in game variant is because they're using Swap Force for it's marketing campaign. If it's for Giants however no dice. They've already set the precedent with PEB not being an in game variant, so that's where my money's at.

All italics is harder to read. It is a legitimate suggestion that will both benefit him and others. Grammar/post style can greatly affect how people read and respond to you and your contribution. You would probably be surprised at how often people that do things like post in all caps, "l33t speek", italics, underline or in color get completely ignored - it doesn't draw attention, except from people that will point it out.

Besides, "Forum Police" posts in these cases tend to greatly outnumber correction posts, and his suggestion wasn't even bad or harsh. Isn't it ironic to complain about bloat while adding more bloat?

Checked a number of stores around here today in PA. Didn't find any of these, but did spot a couple of the sidekicks bags in a Target. So are these the same multi chip packs as the sidekicks?

Probably, going by Frito-Lay history it will be. It will depend on snack food vendors from other countries to pay for the promotion, and most other countries aren't as into promoting and shoving junk food into their children as the good ole' U S of A. You may not get special Skylanders, but as a consolation you don't set as many kids on the path to Type 2 Diabetes.

Checked walmart and target last night and a different walmart and target today..nadda thou all 4 stores had 1-2 bags of stuff on the shelves and look to be due for a restock so I guess I'll try again at the end of the week. Thou i may go the mail in for a code thing this time around.
