Question Regarding The Dark Edition Portal. [CLOSED]

As most of you guys no the UK isn't getting the Wii U dark starter pack. So my question is if I buy the Wii dark starter pack can I use the portal on my Wii U?

Thanks for that makes my choice easier now. Another thing I want to ask is, is the portal that comes with the dark starter slightly different to the normal one? it looks slightly different in the photos this is why I want to no if it works with the Wii U version.

Are you sure? If you look closely it looks like it has a silver paint where as the normal one doesn't.

i know it is, but its the same portal
at least, the "stuff inside" is the same

does it realy matter to you if the portal is different then the normal one
i dont, since the "stuff inside" is the same
