What's up guys, someone PM'ed us about confusion with this video.
So, let's try and clear some things up just so those still confused/mad can understand what happened.



Never, once, can anyone ever say we gave false information deliberately, because it's never happened before in ANY of our videos. Colored photos is one thing, actually saying something in detail and pretending that an Activision employee confirmed it, is another.
So, in this video, 100%, we were under the impression Cali would be a toy (magic item!)

While in that room with all the other Youtube channel peoples, I (Skylander Dad) asked Scott Krager about Cali (because at the time, no one know what her role was since we only saw Tessa at the Toy Fair teaser level). Scott said Cali would not be in Swap Force, we all "awwed" and then a little while later while talking about adventure packs & toys, Scott said "Cali will be in the adventure pack", he didn't say "in the adventure pack level", he just said "the pack", so as excited as it was, at the moment, we didn't go into details, we just said WOW! that's awesome and moved on.

So, later on after a notepad full of notes and 12 videos or so and 2 days of no sleep (lol) it had calmed down. A couple weeks after E3, I contacted Activisions PR just to hand them a bunch of questions I still needed help with, one of them realizing that Flynn might not be in the adventure pack at all. Here are the specific questions and the answers copied straight from the email. My questions in BOLD, their response in ITALICS:

Also, Scott Krager said Cali would be in an adventure pack, would she be just a magic item? Since she is an NPC, I wouldn't think u can play her in game, but I want to make sure.

Cali will be a character featured in the story in the adventure pack (as well as the 3ds). She is not a magic item or a toy, nor is she playable in game.

Also, by accident I said Flynn would be in the adventure pack too, but I think thats wrong, can you clarify if Flynn appears in the adventure pack releases?
Flynn, as a character npc, will exist in the stories in the Adventure pack as well as the main story line. He is not a magic item nor a toy.

At this point, my jaw dropped, like OH NO! People are going to be MAD!
So, shortly after, waiting for the perfect time:
We released this video (it was the Characters Leaked video): (it's now unlisted just so you can see comments if you wanted because since a few days after posting, it has been privated)

At the end of the video, the kids apologized for me for telling them that there would be a Cali and Flynn adventure pack toys. They said if you forgive my dad, tell him in the comments... well within 2 days maybe, there was almost ONE THOUSAND comments, almost all saying "WE FORGIVE YOU SKYLANDER DAD" on top of maybe 39k views so LOTS and LOTS of people got the message. Our TRUE fans, watch our videos to the end, no matter how long they are, and we are so appreciative of that! Anyways, we had to private the video at the request of Activision. But I told them, listen guys, I have an important message at the end and our viewers/fans need to hear it, so we re-posted with images blurred .
Again bam, on top of the 1k comments prior, another 500+ comments of people saying "we forgive you".

And then, on top of that, we posted annotations on that video of the adventure pack saying, sorry guys, this information is incorrect. And then, even posted a response in the comments.

So, I'm pretty sure we've rectified the information as much as humanly possible.

For those that still didn't know, now you know, that was not intentional, it was human error. No one is perfect! Thanks to everyone who understands, for those that don't still, maybe you will one day.
Once again, I'll have to say, NEVER, EVER have we pretended to go that far and detailed to fabricate FAKE NEWS, it's never happened in any of our 200+ vids. And we especially would never do that in videos with Activision, TFB and VV personnel in there, because they do in fact watch our videos. How do you think it would look to them, if we started rumors and even said they told us so. Seriously, I woulnd't have the guts. lol.

Anyways, thanks if you read this to end, I had to finally clear it up.

Those were very different situations. There is a whole 'nother story behind Red Thumpback as well. But, we never once said he was real! But we did say Flynn and Cali pack was coming out with Swap Force and even said an Activision employee confirmed it (that was the only time we verbally messed up and gave wrong information and we apologized like I said earlier, even though it was a mistake). I hope you understand the difference?

So, if most people understood that, they'd understand also why we would never pretend while at TFB there was a S2 Sprocket, S3 TH and Chop Chop and say Paul Reiche confirmed it. We have met these people personally, I would never start a rumor and then pretend an employee confirmed it, that is way to far and grounds for not being reliable and they would never invite me back out if that were the case.

We never said Crasher or Red Thumpback was real, lots of times we use or other subtle things without taking away from the suspense, plus when you see that video with Crasher, not only is it a Skit (the video clearly says "what if" at the end) and it's in our Skits Playlist. We can't go into detail everytime we make a skit and explain if something isn't real. We've had Crusher hit Skylander girl in the head, double trouble shrink the kids, we do get questions "is this real?" lol, I don't know who those people are but it's definitely the minority.

So, a lesson has been learned with the Flynn and Cali pack news.
