I can't find Series 2 Drobot anywhere so I was thinking of buying the Lightcore instead. Do the Lightcores of SA characters have their wowpows in Giants?

No there treated just like series 1 figures. Can't switch paths either kinda makes lightcores unless its a new lander kinda lame over a series 2

I see him every now and again. Are you in the us? Check target/walmart/tru. If your in the uk i think he's not there yet.

On the flip side, the figure glows in game, has a cool nuke effect when he enters a board for the first time, and has a cool glowing effect on the portal. Trying to be glass half full tonight

^ yeah i do like the way they look in-game and on the portal. And they do look different then the S1's ...but they are basicly S2's with S1's paths. Realy wish they had the wow pows....but beggars can't be choosy.

Prob the same time gnarly comes there and we get triple 8/9 and punch pop single.....so ya basically no idea!

...Except from everything I've read on these forums, Drobot has the WORST lightup effect of everybody who lights up. I hear it's just a small gear on his back, barely noticeable.

Yes it does and you can barely tell he's a lightcore aside from his pose

My preference:
- Yeah, Drobot's is bad. It is dim and small and you can barely see it unless you are above him.
- Eruptor's only looks cool in a dark room, otherwise it look like he has a lightbulb in his mouth like Uncle Fester.
- Chill's is alright in a dark room since it is in the base and only kind of lights up her glaive. You have to imagine it is from her planting her spear in the ground I guess.
- Pop Fizz's original version with two bottles lighting up would have been cooler than his released one, but the one is fairly nice.
- Hex is a bizarre choice, but look pretty cool. Adults usually get a laugh out of how it lights up with the red color. Her nickname is "Aunt Flo". Yeah, we went there.
- Shroomboom is nice, but his eye is kinda dim. The mushroom is bright though.
- Jet Vac is very nice, it almost looks like he has three lights since not only his gun and chest light up, but the light shows through to his back pack.
- Prism Break is the best, IMHO. I think they agree since he was the one they showed off first. Perfect match for him given his abilities.

Well lightcores seem to have WOW-POW's! I've bought myself an eruptor lightcore (Gigants series) and he had an WOW-POW! I'm writing had because i wanted to reskill him and i have reseted him and "puff" his WOW-POW disapeared!

I called up the activision support in the US (since it was late in europe) and asked them why my lighcore eruptor lost his WOW-POW.
They said that every lighcore should have a WOW-POW and they said that i should contact aktivision UK so they can help me or even exchange the lightcore figures i have.

I tried to call activision uk but my cellphone said you are not allowed to call this number so i called activision germany. they said i shall send them via support images of my figures and another description of my problem. Activision Support is still down and i will try to contact them again.

I know that nobody has encountered an lighcore with WOW-POW but my eruptor had one! he swallowed his magma ball attack and hurled out a rain of magma balls just like flameslinger with his volley shot. I have no more proof of that since he lost this ability with the reset but i saw it with my own eyes and i also used it in game!

I'll keep you up to date with this case!

While cool I think you most likely got someone who didn't know what they were talking about. While they should have a grasp of the game most customer service people at Activision have no idea about the game. It's a very common problem because of the turn over in that portion of the industry (almost all products are subject to this problem). While there is a chance you will get someone that knows their stuff this is the exception to the rule.
*edit* when my son gets lightcore eruptor his name will be Uncle fester now!
