Anyone thinks this is a good idea for the next skylanders?

I know that that will mean rebuilding the core and all but c'mon.....

No. You can't create another element, as it would be too similar to the ones we have. However, they will keep cranking out new "types" of landers, like Giants, Lightcores, and Swappers. Also Welcome to DarkSpyro!

I imagine a game where Kaos makes evil versions of elements and his own core of darkness.

They seem to just introduce new character classes intend. Giants, LightCore, Swap Force. Which is fine. If the trade marks are all true. then the next game is Nano Force. which is super tiny skylanders. And the game after that is Kaos Alliance which I'm assuming will give us the villain figures everyone has been screaming for.

They registered these domain names at the same time as swap force, so all of this is speculation. None of it verified or technically true. It's good for entertaining value though.

Often lots of "fake" things are registered to try and head off speculation on the real one.
nano-force may be just to help hide Swap Force in the early days.
You can't read ANYTHING into those registrations.

I'm certain that if the series goes long enough there will be another element added, they're going to run out of compelling new character types sooner or later.

Oh heck yeah! A dark Core would be awesome! And the skylanders siding with the dark for the same goal.... Awesome Ideas!!!!

What they could do is introduce something like the four fundamental forces, gravity, electromagnetism, strong nuclear, which is like the basis for nuclear power, and weak nuclear, which is like radioactive decay. Some of that might fly over some kids heads but its a neat idea!

agreed, i can see some of the now excisting skylanders fitting in already!

i can imagine a clock skylander named clockout who is a brawler..

It's not the same concept

It would be extremely hard to come up with a completely new one without being similar to already existing ones.

Well since they keep dropping "known" whenever they talk about the elements there could be more elements they might introduce in a new game.

Light, Dark, Toxic, Metal, Time and Music come to my mind.

I watched a you tube video and they said they might put in stuff like time and space in later games.

I don't know if I'm on the same wavelength or what... but I think the "evil" versions of the skylanders would be cool. As in the evil characters we had to fight in some of the boss battles.

Pokemon adding types is VERY different. They can just add and minus from each others Resistances or Weaknesses. Honestly though, I'm done with pokemon being compared to sky landers.

I agree joe, they honestly......don't have anything in common IMO

ideas for skylanders of new elements

Time-

Hoursmash- a wasp with clock armor and a hourglass pugil stick. “Time’s Up!”

Clockout- a huge clock monster that shoots out fists that send enemies back to spawning point. “You Can’t Stop the Clock!”

Cuckoo- a feathered dragon with spring joints and neck, allowing her to pounce on enemies and use a grandfather clock armor suit to summon clock mines. “The Early Bird Gets The WIN!”

Hypnosick- a stopwatch with robotic arms and legs that swings around chains and hypnotises enemies. “Watch This!”

Flashback- a robotic time machine dragon that can teleport and send enemies to random points in the level. “Attack To The Future!”


Space-

Thruster- a dragon with a rocket thruster for his back legs. he can charge forwards and breathe out exploding rockets. “It’s A Game Of Thrust!”

Astroshot- a sun spirit with a rocket launching wrist cannon and fire breath. “Blast Off To Battle!”

Orbite- an asteroid with rings floating around him. he can shoot the rings at enemies and bite them with his jaw. “One Ring To Rule Them All!”

Atom Bomb- a supersized atom in a robot suit, who throws other larger atoms and creates MASSIVE explosions. “The Master Of Molecules!”

Supernova- A red dwarf (mythology) that throws stars and uses a staff to summon them. “How I Wonder How Hard You Fall!”

Whoah!! Those're* amazing!!

Supernova's staff will be an axe, actually.

we will have red skin and a silver suit of armor and beard. we will be small.

and incase you're wondering, he can survive without a helmet. he comes from a type of dwarf called a "space dwarf"

If time and space are added in a future game I doubt they would be elements. It will probably be a type of Skylander like Giants and Swap Force.

toxics ideas

Toxic-

Spillgore- a arkeyan shield juggernaut with toxic decals and toxic waste hoses. “You Snooze, You Ooze!”

Bladioactive- a mutated arkeyan wielding a toxic chainsaw. he can use the chainsaw for melee or shoof the blades at enemies. “Been There, Saw That!”

Chemikill- a cyclops dragon with a tentacle tail and eye lasers and a sludge cannon. “Better off mutated!”

MadMash- a two headed dark elf with tentacle arms and the ability to shoot eye lasers from the 2nd head. “Heads Up!”

Vortex- a mechanical spider/scorpion with a large suction vortex (think ROTF Devastator) for a face “What Goes In Won’t Come Out!”
