What's interesting is that I ordered after you and I got an email confirmation that my order is processing and my cc was charged. So I am not sure that an email confirmation is still a guarantee that you will get it.

Ah, but Pumpkin Eye Brawl ISN'T an in-game variant, it's not technically, physically possible for him to be an in-game variant. People seem to be hoping so hard he'll be in-game in Swap Force that some people are assuming it, but I have yet to see them do that, taking a non-in-game variant from one game and making him in-game in the next...

If he had a blue base, THEN this would be possible.

"When the 3rd comes", no "out", as in when Sept. 3rd comes, the promised delivery date for Pumpkin Eye Brawl.

I'll just wait for the dust to settle on this one, the fact that there hasn't been any actual promotion for it this close to September makes me inclined to go "Hmm."

realy..there is no real world buzz about it...the only places i see anything about it is here and on you tube.

I feel it's real, i also feel bestbuy having him for 4.99 is a way of them to rid of the regular to stock on the pumpkin, but these are my thoughts and not facts.

I've seen Toys R Us open a full case of Gnarly Tree Rex's...it wouldn't surprise me if Pumpkin Eye Brawl comes the same way.

i would really like a pumpking eye brawl if it will came to the netherlands i will definatly buy him because i like the variant and eye brawl is the only giant i don't have yet

Same, box was labeled gnarly tree rex. I figure eyebrawl will be labeled special eyebrawl or pumpkin eyebrawl. I figure he will appear early sept once stores roll out Halloween items, to replace the shelves full of back to school stuff.

I was charged for the one I ordered from Sears today also. I can't wait to get him...

I'm betting he'll just be orange base, Giants packaging with the "Special" notation. Which means those that got blurple Eye Brawl won't be able to see an inventory uptick like GITD Sonic Boom and Glitter Sonic Boom.

If he gets his own packaging and art, he's probably different, but we can only tell that if we look at the little in-game picture on the side of the packaging.

Nothing is guaranteed at sears, sorry to say that.

that's true as there are some stories of them having problems with pre orders before after taking payments. I hope they all go through how they should as they did finally deduct the payment from my account yesterday so here's hoping the 3rd rolls around and it works and i see a pumpkin eye brawl shipping confirm.

In the meantime i did get my 3ds spyro's adventure starter rather quickly and they do the 99 cent shipping so they are doing good on that stuff so far. if it's still on their website and others are looking for the first dark spyro, 19.99 plus 99 cents shipping is a great deal

I noticed a pattern. Everyone probably figured it out but this is my guess. If the box art and card is of the original character, then the variant figure itself will not appear different in the game. Example: GITD, gold, silver, etc. If the art and card matches the figure then it will appear that way in the game. Example: gnarly tree rex, scarlet ninjini, etc.

In only works for the skylanders not magic items as long as we know... And cbunny84 thats why we differentiate ingame variants and variants.. Ingame variants are the one that changed in game as well for example scarlet ninjini, legendary trigger happy, etc
The other one variant is only the outside look e.a GITD skylanders, blue bash, glitter hot head, etc

Halloween is coming, Halloween is coming....
DI is getting Jack for toybox, hoping this also why activ is doing a pumpkin eyebrawl.

What does everybody think about the availability of these? Do you think it will be easy to find when released or do you think I should preorder from CD universe to be sure?

I think it will be just like Gnarly Tree Rex where activison releases a lot to compete against disney infinity. Do not preorder for like $40

I to will wait...im thinking it will be like the Gnarly Tree Rex....it just appered...there was little buzz about it coming out in a single pack. And then it flooded the stores. Since DI is already out i'm thinking Activision will make a big deal about it being so close to Halloween. Heck they might even make a commercial...they haven't done one in some time. Because there has been no official announcement from Activision about Pumpkin Eye-Brawl.

EDIT: Also someone asked a Activision Assist about Pumpkin Eye-Brawl and all he said was...
"We don't have info on that, sorry! Please let us know if you have any other questions." ....they do know about it...i know they do....but im sure they are on strict orders not to talk about or even hint about him.

So I went out to sears.com and noticed that the pumpkin eye-brawl product page is no longer available. It says that the product is no longer available. When I went to the page earlier it existed, but the product release date was 12/31/2013. Before it was 9/3/2013. So I am wondering if the product has been delayed?

12/31 is always a placeholder date.

Skylanderprime---I know what you are saying...it does sound as if it is delayed. Itd be worth writing a note to customer service to see if they will telk you anything. My guess..which is just as guess.. is that its delayed a few days and they dont know specifically whay day so they put in the end of year date...that you know already...is a placeholder date.

To get into more detail of what I said, Even if they charge your card your not gauranteed anything, they can just cancel your order and hold your money for a week.

Why can't they just be like amazon and charge whenever they ship?

Sears is really annoying at times.

Nope, I use to work for Kmart and Sears 10-15yrs ago and I dont trust either of them when it comes to ordering stuff online and from them etc.

Like others said, I figure it will come out like gnarly prob after just after labor day. Stores are starting to get rid of back to school items as school is due to start very soon. Back to school leftovers will be moved etc and halloween will be up next. Some stores already are doing this here around me in NY. If he's a special variant (like glitter) I can see him coming out before OCt so ppl spend money on him as a "giant". If he's tossed in swap force as a true variant (like gnarly) then I would think they would relase him closer to early OCT and advertise him as such, "buy pumkin eyebrawl shows as a pumpkin in SWAP FORCE".or something like that.


My moneys on Mid Sept, but who knows. Disney is going have Jake the Pumpkin King at gamestop for DI, pumpkin gives skylander fans a skylander guy.

I just received an email from cduniverse saying Pumpkin Eye Brawl has been discontinued, I ordered mine within the hour**it was put up for preorder so I don't know what the deal is.

I'm more inclined to think either they're not getting it as an exclusive anymore or they've been had.

I'm starting to believe that maybe the figure will be pulled and canceled. If not maybe it will hit all retail stores in a couple weeks.
