Most of the swappers and core skylanders only have 3 fingers??

3 fingers has always been the norm for a lot of things. I always thought it was because you can get away with 3 fingers and it looks just as good as a regular hand, but then you have 2 fingered hands and it looks considerably stranger.

It also saves time on the animation and polygons on the model. You can make a lot more detailed hands with 3 fingers than hands with 4 fingers of the same size.

It's just that... Most of the older skylanders have four fingers.

Is that because the developers have changed??

Wait - do you mean 3 fingers as in "3 fingers, and a thumb" or 3 fingers including a thumb? Either way, looking at all my old 'landers, they all seem to have 3 fingers and a thumb.

I think he means 3 fingers and a thumb. So far, there are only two Skylanders with 3 fingers including a thumb. They are Zook and Trigger Happy. Coincidentally, those guys are me and my brother's faves.

I was thinking about that a while ago... Even if Stink Bomb is a skunk, he DOES look like a turtle, to me. Not to mention he is also a ninja...
I have to admit that at first I did not liked his concept, but if that is the reason of his turtle look, then is a nice reference.

yes, lately most of the skylanders seem to have reverances to otther characters from otther media and games

You are right skylandersgiants.
I looked at the new ones and there are quit a lot with 3 fingers: Fryno, Riptide, Bumble Blast, Scorp prototype, Hoot Loop, Boom Jet, Stink Bomb, Free Ranger, Spy Rise, Wash Buckler, Fire Kraken and Magna Charge.
