I went Dark, Since I collect the In-Game varients, but I do plan on either ordering normal Washbuckler and Blastzone loose with card and code or just buying the PS3 starter a little while after release

Went with the Dark set today. Asked the manager at GameStop and he said the Dark set will also come with Lightcore Hex. I hope this is true, but we all know how GameStop's word can be...

The Darks look awesome in person. Trust me.

normal 3DS @ Target
planning on getting a DARK WiiU @ Gamestop (and I don't even own a WiiU) hahaha wishful thinking - hoping prices drop once the new xbox and PS are released

Why people would buy more than one of the console starters is beyond me.
I'm warming up to the darks, though DNSE is the only one I really love. DBZ is the second best as well.

i buy the dark pack since i do own more, andi Always try to get things more "rare:
my friend buys the normal cheaper pack so he has money left, so he can buy two figs too, then we simple trade the charters for a week, then we return them, its a smart idea

I preordered my copy today and the employee told me I will still get Lightcore Hex and I can still use the Fritolay coupon (when the game comes in).
Of course, GameStop might be GameStop and not allow either perk on launch day...

I will probably wind up buying 3 starter packs (ps3, 3ds, and dark) on launch day. I'm hoping TRU has the B1G1-40% off on launch day like they had last year for Giants. That would certainly help in bringing down the cost. The only figure that I, and my kids, don't care about in all three sets is Volcanic Eruptor. All the others we want.

Yeah you can never depend on GameStop, lol.

I would recommend the Dark starter pack, as long as you actually like the look of the dark-colored variants.
It is slightly more expensive than the regular starter pack, but you get two additional figures included, which is pretty sweet.

I see it this way: regular starter pack costs $75. Two more single pack characters would cost an additional $20. That totals $95.
The Dark starter pack costs $100 ... which ultimately is only $5 extra dollars.
I think the only people who will be buying the regular starter pack are those that either don't know about the Dark edition or those that just simply don't like the look of the dark variants.

Yeah, I cancelled the regular starter I had on Amazon and pre-ordered the Dark. Non-Dark characters will be much easier (and cheaper!!) to find later on.

Zap, DBZ (Dark Blast Zone, not Dragon Ball Z) Is NOT Ignitor on steroids. Normal BZ is Ignitor on steroids, DBZ is Ignitor on Dark Steroids...BIG DIFFERENCE!

I'm thinking the same thing which is one of the reasons I went for the Dark Starter. I'll get the regular Ninja Stealth Elf later on for my Stealth Elf collection.
