Me too. Would it be wrong for me to just by the figure and not DI? I'm not planning on buying DI, not because "OMG! SKYLANDERS RIPOFF!!!" But for three reasons in particular. 1: I'm not a big Disney fan. 2: Not enough of Disney's non-human stars. I tend to have more fun playing as non-humans. But the ones DI DOES have don't interest me that much. 3: What the hell!? That is NOT Sully!

Skylanders isn't a Spyro game it's a GREAT game! So is Spyro!

Poor Stitch, he's only a object on a surfboard now, lol. I'm more of a DreamWorks Fan, I don't like Disney right now(who thought it was a good idea for Planes?!). I love Skylanders and Spyro, but I hate it when people think that Skylanders is a Spyro game and always get disappointed when it doesn't meet their expectations.

LOL! Skylanders wins period for one reason. Infinity and TRU are running a shady business that is going to sucker a lot of people tomorrow.

So, tomorrow, TRU will have exclusive blind packs, that supposedly includes a random exclusive power disc, right? WRONG! They advertise that on the website, but little do people know that EVERY exclusive blind disc pack has the same exclusive power disc, "Mike's Car." The other disc is a random disc that can be found in any normal blind pack.

How shady is that? To make people think there is the chance to get 1 of the supposedly 10 power discs in an exclusive blind pack, only to go home with multiple packs and it's all just Mike's Car?

WOW! That John guy, who's helping market Infinity won't even answer Twitter comments by consumers who want clarification on it. TRU probably told him not to. He has his best interests in mind, not the customer.

I can't wait to see how many upset customers swear off Infinity now, when they go home tomorrow to find themselves having 5, 10, to 20 of Mike's Car, because they bought so many exclusive blind packs, without knowing it's the same exclusive disc.

What a ripoff.

I reiterate, Skylanders will always be my most favorite game series. Screw Disney!

P.S. I had already preordered it.

I freaking love Stitch stuff. All time favorite character, and a bit disappointed he was regulated to "item", especially since he celebrated 10 years a few years ago (feel old yet?) and that went by without so much as a special pin from Disney.

Personally, I think it's a very interesting frontier we're moving towards. I was reading that Disney is in fact working on Infinity 2, but that the games will receive updates (minus Wii Version) that will allow them to be backwards compatible with newer figures. However, long load times and the higher price point could potentially be a killer for the game.

Like I said. Very interesting frontier we're moving towards. Regardless of your stance on the games, there's no doubt about a big competitor entering the ring. I posted on one of our user's infinity forums about the displays they have:

I went by Best Buy tonight and saw their space--half of Skylanders is now taken up by Infinity. My wife saw the 13.99 prices and said "fuhgetaboutit". I'm going by tomorrow just to see how much of a buzz is there.

I'm not buying Infinity. My wallet can only afford one franchise.

I did my research. People on Disneyinfinityfans posted this info. Every blind exclusive pack tomorrow supposedly only has 1 of the ten exclusive discs, and it's "Mike's Car."

I will be buying 10 of them tomorrow, but will only open 3 to prove this point. I will then take the other 7 back to the store.

Seriously though, Skylanders is a REALLY awesome series, in general.

I DEFINITELY ate my whole words, after playing the first game. Here I thought
That this would just be one of those fads that comes and goes. But NOPE!

What I get, is a series of games that takes me on one heckuva nostalgic trip
back to the age of the SNES and Genesis adventure games, each and every
time I play.

THIS reason, and the fact that the character I play as or magical attacks/items
I use in-game, are actually PHYSICAL figurines I can collect, or just look at them
for artistic appreciation, is why I love Skylanders, and will continue to support Acti/TFB/V V.

And yes.... 1.5 BILLION, with a B lol

I personally thought the figures were a cool idea too. Even if you're not playing Skylanders, you still get something nice to look at.
