With so many people ordering multiple starter packs and everyone getting a free lightcore Hex with all starter packs is the law of supply and demand basically going to make lightcore Hex worth nothing. I could see people having problems with just trying to give her away.

Funny thing is I don't even like her, I'd rather have any other character than boring hex v.v

Definitely not. "cheapest of all Skylanders" is easily held down by series 1 Trigger Happy ... at least as long as you're willing to include loose characters.
In the box, the cheapest two are usually S1 Whirlwind and S2 Cynder. I highly doubt LC Hex will drop down to those prices online (typically like $6 or less including shipping if you look in the right places).

Hmm..interesting. It probably will drop in price on places such as eBay for a short time period, but I presume that by Christmas it'll go back to normal. As BahamutBreaker said, it is never gonna be as "cheap" as other certain Skylanders such as the starter pack ones. Also, not everyone who wants SSF will pre-order it so not every player will get LC Hex anyways.

Matteo, what's the big deal w the Swap Force cards? Is the thinking that they're going to become rare or something?

The swap force cards have the magic upgrade rfid inside for an item in swap force. Like the volcanic vault upgrade only Target has this and I am sure there are alot of people that when they find out would want to have gotten this special card. Its only 1.00 to buy the card and thats going to be a hot item here soon I bet. Take a look at this.

It all depends on what it does. Then again, the Volcanic Vault only unlocked one generic battle field yet now its rare and highly sought after.

Exactly Ratchet....i recommend everyone going to Target an getting one...there only a buck...and im sure it dosen't matter witch platform you get, it will work on all portals. The card is for the game your reserving....the RFID chip is what your after.

And remember what it says on the top left back of the card....they will be pulled....if you wait to long.

I bought one of those and cut the RFID chip out, it has a apple shaped circuit running through it. it's cool seeing a RFID chip since I never wanted to cut them out of my skylanders not even jet vac who I despise

you need to handle the chip carefully ...or you will ruin it.

Edit: and yead they do look cool

Holding with your bare hands will ground it...causing the itty bitty black chip you see on the top will short out....belive it or not you have a current in you body

If you cut it out, I will lay odds the antenna is cut, hence it is now useless anyway.

The only way to remove these from plastic cards like credit cards etc is to dissolve in acetone.
DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME. (Google Acetone and what it does/how to treat it before doing anything with it)

well it was only a buck...he can go buy another one...

And yeah...Acetone is preetttie nasty stuff.....i recommend nobody messing with it onless you know what your doing.

Oh ..and Pyrofer...the Reservation Card is paper...thick laminated card stock. So im sure he could have torn it apart....but im sure he still touched it.

No, the oils on your skin will ruin it as well.

Doubtful, I stuck one in a jar of water and froze it and I have laminated one and they both still work. The RFID tags are quite sturdy.

Yeah Guys Im not a little kid I wash my hands And I cut carefully anyways It still works fine and it has a thin layer of paper over it I can't remove with out possibly bending it.

People have, and it is confirmed that it does have an RFID chip that works. It will not work in Giants, but it will work in Swap-Force.

Yeah you can it will just give you the This item does not work in skylanders giants message since it's meant for swap force.
