"Lava Barf" makes no sense !! [CLOSED]

"Lava Barf" is the name of Series 2 Eruptor's Wow Pow. Since his Series 3 is getting a replacement Wow Pow, why would they call him "Lava Barf Eruptor" when he dos not even have the "Lava Barf" upgrade ???
Now that there putting things like "Phantom, Hyper Beam, Knockout" in front of there names, I actually was really hoping the fandom (and maybe even the SF game) would stop calling Series 2 Skylanders "Series 2" and start calling them "Fire Slam Spyro, Supreme Bladegear Drobot, Lightning Rain Cynder"
But Eruptor's name then just makes no sense smilie

You're right.
Maybe the S3 wowpow is based upon the S2 one, or a variation of it.

I completely agree. I mean, Eruptor shouldn't have been selected to be a Series 3 figure anyway.

I have a feeling that, although his S2 Wow-Pow is "Lava Barf", maybe his S3 Wow-Pow will be something about his eruption attack? S3 Spyro's attack focuses on his charge, which you can improve anyway - but it adds something different whilst still on top of the existing charge attack.

It was announced at E3 that they will have a different Wow-Pow than their S2 figure.

Maybe there's a lava barf wow pow upgrade. We can call it "Blowing chunks" where volcanic rocks and stones bounce around along with the lava barf.

the s3 dont have s2 wow pow, so there is no reason to refer to his s2 wow pow at all....

But his S2 Wow Pow is called Lava Barf. I think it will be: Vomit Comet: Lava Barf is a flaming comet that does 50 damage. Or maybe even 60. Cause, yknow, OP is the new thing. smilie

His last wowpow was more flame-breath than Lava-Barf.
I predict
A. He drools/barfs lava onto the ground and can leave a molten trail, like his figure.
B. A much longer range of lava-shooting. Combined with his insane eruption melee, he'd probably be the most broken character around...

That's not what the upgrade will be called. Could you really see an upgrade just called "Ninja", "Mega Ram" or "Big Bang"? It might be similar like maybe "Mega Ram Super Charge" "Way of the Ninja", and "The Big Bang Theory". So LavaBarf/Volcanic Eruptor will not have the "Lava Barf" upgrade again, but it will be something similar.

Eruptor's the flagship (main) Fire character. If they make a Skylanders 4, expect him to have a Series 4 along with the Faithful Trio (Spyro Gill Grunt, Trigger Happy), and Stealth Elf.

No one ever said that's what the upgrade will be called. The opening post was talking about the fandom giving a name to Series 2 Skylanders that were released in Giants since they did not get one. and what better to name them besides after there Wow Pow, since that's there main difference from the Series 1 versions.

Anchor's Away is the name of Series 2 Gill Grunt's Wow Pow, so hes in the same boat as Lava Barf Eruptor for having a name/Wow Pow duplicate.
Fire and Water are opposing Elements, maybe it means something? Maybe those two will have there old Wow Pow returning?
It seem to coincidental that they accidentally did this with the names.
