Also if I get 5+ more posts on this thread I will share any and all info concerning this pack. (Thanks to my friend who works at gamestop) once I do go there today

I plan on getting both. My brother and I already preordered the normal starter pack at Toys R Us. For the dark version, we are splitting the price in order to cut the cost for both of us.

I'd like to get the dark edition, if it is released in the UK, but it depends how much it is first. I like Dark Stealth Elf's look, I prefer to play as Dark Spyro over regular Spyro and I quite like Slobber Tooth.

I want this so much! Hope it comes to the UK! Hope Wash and Blast are released in singles now.

Prefer the normal paint and I don't care to get Spyro or Slobber Tooth.

I think they could do a better job, e.g:
Blast Zone with blue or purple fire instead red,
Wash Buckler with the same shirt paint but purplish skin

We have gamestop here but it is called EB Games, so we should get it.. right??

No? The whole red is destroying the colour sheme. They should have taken purple fire.

We have gamestop here but it is called EB Games, so we should get it.. right??

I believe austraila will be also getting it a EB Games considering UK is getting it at GAME (their version of gamestop.)

But chances are I'll figure out how to custom paint them.

But think about the in-game purple fire... We will never have it...

Good point. That'll drive me insane. But the burning (no pun intended) desire to have Dark Spyro will make me get the pack anyways.

I dislike the dark variations of WB and Slobbertooth, but the rest look great. DNSE especially...

Dark's FTW, unfortunately i can't get that starter pack in my country so dammit, but all i actually care about is S3 dark spyro and dark blast zone, i don't like the other ones

This could be a good idea. I think i'm going just preorder dark and keep the regular preorder too, pick it all up and sit and wait the month and see what wave 1 and possibly 2 end up being (like tru got wave 2 early hopefully wave 2 of this too)

Upon seeing the snapshots of the Darks ingame (I agree some of them were photoshopped), I like them a bit better. They look much cooler inside, theire toy figures are more grey, but inside they're all black and chrome.

I totally love the dark version, but I'll probably have to put up with the regular starter pack, as I see no chance they'll release this here.

damn, on release i will get 3ds. on new years eve im going for the dark starter pack via gamestop. and i guess i will wait until the other starter will go down in price. i want washbuckler, s3 ninja and blastzone on release *normal* so this sucks. what am i gonna do with game 2???

I can say that I only really like a few of the dark versions over their original release colors. Slobber Tooth and Wash Buckler to be exact. I can't condone paying an $25 more for it. I may change my mind later but I don't think so. I have already committed myself to two ToysRUS preorders (for the PS3 and 3DS) and I don't think I can handle another starter pack during the release. I would imagine that these will be limited sets so that they will not be available for much past the release date. Does anybody know anything more about the Walmart Exclusive starter packs? Is it just the coupons packs that make it special?

Buy the dark version, take out spyro and sell off the rest, prob can make back the money.

Usually Collector Editions are limited runs so as long as they don't reproduce the figures the dark versions could be quite hard to get down the road.

I will be buying this, and then waiting until mid-2014 to sell Slobbertooth and Spyro - I like dark spyro, but I already have s1, and can get more money for dark.
