I always think of my puppy when I hear this song. We had to put him down, and he was so young. I decided to post here because I don't want to clutter PT5 with more depressing stuff and lots of lyrics. We had to put him down in April, but I still cry almost every night. He was suffering pretty bad... We had to put him down. It was just so sad though. He lived every moment of his life in pain. He always suffered. He didn't deserve any of that. He was a great dog. He was only a puppy. He didn't deserve to die... He didn't deserve to be born with hip and joint issues. I just feel so bad for him. I lay awake at night wondering what his life would've been like if he was born normal, or if he lived at all. Whenever I cry anymore it's about him. Th entire thing sent me into such a deep depression that I can't get rid of. I can't shake it. I just miss him so much. I can't really do anything anymore without thinking of him. My parents tried to replace him by getting me another dog, but he isn't the same... Not nearly. He's nothing like my little puppy. He's NOT my little baby that I had to let go. He's NOT there for me when I need to cry. He's not there for me at all. He doesn't care about me. Griffen, my puppy, was. He cared about me. He was there for me. I loved him, and he loved me. And I let him die. I LET HIM DIE! I feel horrible. Was it the right choice, to let him go? Or could I have done something? Anything? I just feel so powerless. I feel hopeless. I feel like I betrayed him. I'd give anything to see him happy, I'd give anything to hug him again, and see his adorable little face. Snuggle with him one more time, be happy again. I just.... I just can't get rid of the sadness...
