It's pretty much a secret, but...

Once the egg hits 0 hours (Half an hour) from dying, put it in as many ERs as possible and hope it hatches. The egg may hatch normally, die, turn into a Neglected but still die, or turn into a Neglected and hatch. You can do the same to hatchlings, but it's a lot harder.

They also have to have little to no views, which is why most people fog attempts.
