So guys, on Monday at 1pm EST a bunch of us will be releasing new Swap Force gameplay on Youtube (about 5 minutes long)
In this video, you'll hear the Catchphrase audio for a few of these guys.
You'll see Rattle Shake gameplay. A BOUNCE zone where you have to pop Kaos Balloons. Also a speed zone where you have :20 to make it to the end by dodging obstacles. (on a race track) It looks like it may be the Speed Zone from E3s trailer but its much more clearer and longer.

Two of the areas in the new level are:
Gobblepod Sanctuary and Overlook Heights

It's real cool stuff and we can't wait to share it.

Also a few new screen shots which reveal a new enemy.

Any reason for this sudden realease?

Who cares? Always great to see more gameplay. I have been quite curious as to what Rattle Shake's gameplay is.

Reasons probably involve Activision wanting users like skylanderskids to release the content at the right time.

I'm assuming Dark Lord Activision has given you the OK to do this. These little side games are cute but I'm looking to know more about the upgrade mechanics for skylanders in action and an example of the unlocked content from playing these sidebars.

Personally after the last stunt they pulled on leaked figs why don't THEY do the work and present what THEY want instead of going through middle men? They are just as capable of uploading videos on youtube as anyone else. Right?!? I will say however that it wouldn't be as entertaining as your videos, but I digress.

256 combos and only 12 chapters...local battle only...do the math. That's a lot of replaying and depending on a local body to do battle mode. I love the swapping of the characters (their crown jewel is the toy innovation) but man I want to know I won't be bored with this game 2 hours into it.

I hope that when I get my Youtube channel fully up and running, that I get the oppurtunity to cover Skylanders at Toy Fair and E3, and interview some of the people. I still think some Skylanders journalists aren't asking the right questions.

Not one person asked them that with the Heroic Challenges not coming back in Swap Force, how will players go about upgrading their Skylanders stats permanently.

^Exactly. It's like people are so enamored with the swapping and hi-def...but that won't help if the content / re-playability isn't there. Most of them (no all of them) have looked at the game itself...I'm interested on the upgrading mechanics and what's the unlocked content for doing these side quests.

The skylander upgrading task so far as been the meat of the replayability...I just don't want someone to tell me I have to do x for every single skylander; I hope they spice up this concept to make it much less repetitive or provide different options on how the upgrades on both capabilities on stat upgrades occur.

i would like to hear more about the upgrade of stats of the figurines. since they now are not having the heroics on the figures anymore.

this is mainly for the last paragraph. even though there are only 12 levels, there are the 2 new adventure packs, plus a bunch of bonus levels

Compare apples to apples. 16 SG to 12 SSF. Unless play clock time comes in different, or they are doing a Sonic type thing where there are multiple mini levels within the larger chapter it looks small to me.

So, what are in these "bonus missions"...kinda odd NO ONE is asking about this. I think we'll be lucky if they play "like" heroics. I just have a feeling they just rebranded heroics as bonus levels you get while playing the game.

How many are a bunch? How long do these levels take? What's the reward for completing them? Finding them all? How do we upgrade skylanders now? Can I upgrade my skylanders to their full potential without buying any more skylanders in this game? Do they unlock content for skylanders in this game? If so, what is it? If they don't, is there any in game incentive ever to buy another one?

When you reset a swap lander, does it reset both halfs or just the top half? or just the bottom half? or you get to choose?

I can't believe we had a small army of guys at E3 and NO ONE asked questions like this. Too enamored with Bronze Hot Dog and spinning the wheel I guess.

However, am I the only one who thinks Rattle Shake is also inspired a bit by Indiana Jones? That would be funny, because they are both adventurers (kinda), but Indy is afraid of snakes.

^Just wanted some rationale if you had any; frankly I haven't seen enough to know if I like him or not. Also, I know his catch phrase but that hat reminds me more of Dundee.

You should be happy that they made a Skylander with spiderlegs. They could made another monowheel,Skylander.

Rattle Shake is definitely one of my favorites. Should be neat owning a skylander figure with a spring body.

This sums it up for me.
