Ok, I'm going to get straight to the point. Will Star Strike or Grim Creeper be a Core character, or only a lightcore?
Also, is this how each element works?

New Skylander
Lightcore Skylander
S2/S3 Returning Skylander
S2/S3 OTHER Returning Skylander
Swaplander

star strike and grim creeper will be both core and lightcore and each element gets one S3, one S2, one lightcore, two swaplanders, and two newlanders

I'd also say that each Lightcore Skylander will have a normal version.

If they follow the trend they set in Giants, then yes each LightCore will have a regular figure as well.

However, at this point there is no official word either way.

Personally I hope they don't. Not duplicating the LightCores would allow for more (different) Returning Skylanders.

Why can't Activision provide Wow Pows and/or upgrade path switch options for LightCores?

They can.

They chose not to for Giants to increase sales of non lightcore versions which I think may have worked.

I would also speculate that if they release a character with only lightcore they may give that character a wow pow, but I'd be surprised.

I know it is kinda off topic, but, do you think Activision would be able to grant all the old and new Skylanders the upgrade path switching ability, in Swap Force, if they wanted to?

they would be able to but most likely won't

I agree...duplicity in the same release is nerve wracking. I'd also like the idea that Wow Pows be introduced into lightcores to make up for this. This would justify the 11.99 price tag a bit more....and in the case of Warnado---wouldn't it STINK if he doesn't get a wow pow because it's a lightcore?

Light cores will probably get their own normal form non light core

Which is dumb really... why make two of a new character when it would be just as fast to repose one of the lost characters.

I would get really posed off if they only gave warnado an LC pose I have him but he is such a cool character he deserves that S2 glory

Warnado needs a S2 he's too weak on both of his paths, but then again so is jet-vac ._.

is no where near as original as , plus he also is a huge waste of a Skylander in my eyes.

I was never a Jet-Vac fan, but Warnado looks a lot like wartortle.
Still a cool figure though.

You could have had all the newlanders or all the forgotten 8 as lightcore figures, expanding the number of characters for people just starting the series with SFF; and you wouldn’t have had to cut down on new characters or new s2/s3 characters.

I see your logic, but I'm just saying what I think the Beings of Avarice are going to do. If I had it my way, I would just give everyone who hasn't been reposed at least once a repose. Even if it meant that one game there was only 8 reposes.

I hope Warnado only gets LC, because I want a new Jet-Vac. LightCores should also get Wow Pows.

I hope they give the reposed Lightcore skylanders the WOW POW.
They werent sold good enough in Giants.

Same here, or at least the ability to switch upgrade paths.

I only have one lightcore and that is jet vac the smart bomb effect is boring to me because I don't get to take out any enemies

The only LC's I buy are the LC's if the new guys for each game.

Craziness. I really feel all returning landers should be series 2/3 and lightcores and all new ones shouldn't have a lightcore. This doubling of crap gets annoying and is why shelves are covered in lightcores that no one wants.
