For those of us in the southern part of the world, (Well, New Zealand mostly, I suppose Australia can count too), I've been rather surprised, and delighted to find Molten Hot dog at my friendly local Warehouse Extra. So much for not bothering with variants, oh well! How could I turn him down?

Considering he's supposed to be a Walmart Exclusive, this is rather interesting.

Keep an eye out for Jade Flashwing too - also in Warehouses throughout New Zealand... But they are going fast. Me and my girlfriend grabbed the last ones at the local Paraparaumu Warehouse (one each and one for my niece).
Try looking through a few of the less visited stores, you should stumble upon one.

Ironically, Jades were gone in a day or two here, but molten stuck about for a week. I wish I'd known you were after one, I'd have saved the one I gave to my niece.

I know your pain… I’d ordered Jade and Polar online, only to find Jade on sale here and Polar Whirlwind is free with Swapforce. *sigh* I wish there was some way to know if these things were ever coming here.

Jade Flashwing eh? Well, if I spot her I'll definately have to scoop her up. Mostly I'm delighted to see these 'exclusive' variants available without having to fork over exuberant volumes of cash just to score.

Assuming I can actually get any more Molten Hot dogs, would any of you kiwis like me to collect some for you?

I have them all - but I'm also happy to grab any molten/jade figures if other kiwis are looking for them.

Can you find legendarys in nz ?

Thus far, no. We seem to be catching the tail end of a few variants. As far as I can tell, we've only really seen Molten Hot Dog, and Jade Flashwing. I'm not counting Dark Spyro and Punch Pop Fizz, since they're marketed with the 3DS games (Groovy Tree Rex too, I suppose.)

I'd hate to think that collectors are missing out due to scalping (there was a glut on Trademe not long ago).

There was a massive lot on Trademe a wee while ago... like a lot.
Having said that, most the Trademe sellers price them pretty high and it's often cheaper via Australian EBay.

I usually get colour variants I want via eBay. But I usually buy them with other figs so its a good deal.

And last time I checked the Warehouse, 2 Jades left. 0 Moltens. I think they'll be gone by now. And surprisingly, the Ninjini is still there...

I wouldn't hold my breath - Scarlett was in a much earlier wave, so if she was coming I imagine we'd have seen her.

Having said that, I didn't think we'd get polar/molten/jade either, so anything could happen.

I was thinking the same thing. Lets hope something exciting happens in nz like... Gnarly tree Rex single pack or something like that.

Considering how long it took for us to see regular Ninjini, I wouldn't be surprised if Scarlet Ninjini appears here at some time.

As for legendaries, I wouldn't hold your breath.

Yeah, don't hold your breath for the legendaries. If they were coming they'd likely already be here.

I’m mildly shocked there haven’t been a wave of them for sale on Trademe.

I managed a full set for me, plus an extra Gill-Runt and Trigger-Snappy for my niece. Glad you guys managed to snag some; it would be gutting to miss out. Whisper Elf went really fast and is now totally gone from my local stores. And Terra-byte went soon after.
It’s looking like Gill-Runt will be the last sidekick standing, but at this rate not for long.

At this point in time, I'm pretty much shelving Giants till Swap Force (mostly because me portal's crapped out and I can't be bothered replacing it), that said, I'll still keep an eye on other variants trickling over.

Incidently, it might be a little out of the way, but Dannieverke (Oh god how do you spell that I don't even) Warehouse was still pretty stocked on variants.
