I wondering, can you save the game without a PS1 memory card, and save on the internal hard drive of the PS3? Because if you can, then I think this would be more worthwhile to me. I'm thinking about getting the Spyro trilogy on PS3, so I don't have to keep using the discs to play all the time.

Yes, it is a fun game to play, I must admit, the graphics are terrible now, but that's good old PlayStation for you. If you like this game, then you might enjoy the sequels even more, because at the end, it leaves you wanting MOARE. Although, it can get a little repetitive at times too, but I think the majority of games have this type of gameplay. (Not gameplay as in Spyro, gameplay as in the repetitve nature.)

Thanks, that's wicked then. I'd love to get them on the PS3, I don't have to use a wired controller anymore, no discs, and no memory cards, you think that modern games would all be done online now, instead of companies having to produce hard copies all the time.

I found Beast Makers to be more on the easy side. The only obvious exception being the infamous Tree Tops level, which is often thought of as the most difficult level in the game.

I have a technique for that. When you activate a supercharge, it appears you can let go of the control stick. So I do that unless I need to turn, in which case I gently tap the control stick in the appropriate direction. It works... sort of.

There's that one dragon in one of the levels in Dream Weavers which is near impossible to work out his location. There's a few well hidden gems in some levels too.

Enjoy Spyro 2. It's my favourite of the series.

Is that the one with...
the ridiculous supercharge and then sprinting up the stairs to beat the wizard animating the armor? That was insane! ;~;

Yep, that was insane, but if I didn't make it to the top, I'd exit out the room to where the dragon statue is, and run back in, and it resets itself. I've worked out how to do that in one attempt now. I couldn't even work out how to get this dragon, I remember seeing it glitch through the ceiling at one point, and thought that it could have been a mistake by the developers, and just left it. The same with the one in Tree Tops. It's weird how the majority of Spyro is pretty easy, then you get random difficult parts like this.
