Are toys released before game comes out, or on launch with the game ? [CLOSED]

I wasn't really into the Skylanders scene during the Giants release, so I was curious as to if the toys are released with the game, or do they put them out earlier ?

I was plan on hitting Wal-mart so I could pick them up at midnight, but I'm wondering how early I should be there. Will they put the toys on the shelves before midnight, or do they put them out with the game at midnight ?

I think the Aussies got the figures a Day or Two before release day.

The Swap force game and characters come out at the same time, well not all. There are waves that come out with more characters as they pass.

That would be so cool to get it on day -1 or day -2! (Negative meaning before they release, FYI) If anyone happened to, they would have to post pix, or feel the wrath of 1000 ignitors!
