This is a trivia-based show where players compete to see who can be the Sole Survivor! I thought up the idea and HIR made it actually happen. We have seasons regularly. First, a few ground rules:

Read the rules
I cannot stress this enough. It’s important that you understand each challenge’s rules. I encourage you to ask questions if you have any before a challenge starts. If you're new to the game, HIR recommends reading the wiki page and/or talking with your teammates to get acquainted with the basics of the game.

Play to win!
Simple premise. The game won’t be fun if you’re not trying. So if you don’t intend to put a solid effort into the game, don't plan on taking it somewhat seriously, or you think you cannot commit the time to play this game, please do us all a favor and withdraw. Quitting will not be an option once a game starts!

All answers and votes should be submitted in Private Messages
Unless you hear otherwise from a host. Be sure to read the rules so you know if one of those exceptions happens. Hosts will also send PMs from time to time. HIR can't speak for anyone else, but he will always put "Survivor" in the subject line of any PM he sends to you about the game.

Flavor text is just for fun
The flavor text does not express the host's opinions or any of the players’. It is simply for your enjoyment. Otherwise hosts wouldn’t go through the trouble of making it.

Spectators and banished players, keep posts to a minimum
Missed the signups? What a shame. Out of the game? I’m sorry to hear that. But unless you have something meaningful to contribute to the topic, please refrain from posting in it. Along those lines, you CANNOT offer any help to people still in the game unless it’s part of a challenge. If a host finds that happening, the offending player will be out of the game and HIR will likely consider not letting either of you participate in the next game.

Related to that, please do not ask to host a season
We're not in the habit of planning that far in advance, and spamming the topic or HIR's PM inbox will ultimately not help your case. HIR will make hosting decisions if necessary. If you have a proven track record of being an active participant in the topic you may get a chance at some point. But you will likely not get to host if you did nor participate in, or keep up with, the previous season of the game. Also, hosting if you've never played in a season is out of the question.

And will still be enforced. So respect each other! And please do not spam the topic with types of posts you would usually put in a Stuff & Nonsense topic. Thanks. <3
