Agreed. They could've made an Undead snake, sure, but not designed like that. I think he looks most Earth-ish.

I'm glad to be back. Took a break from the site due to not much going on and now that Swap Force is coming out I'm interested. While I may not be buying it right away I am still interested in what Activision is doing with the series.

This. You get Lightcore Hex and whatever else when you get the game. You get the poster when you reserve it, I believe.

I agree, for Rattle Shake to be undead they should have used a whole different color palette like the black, red and bone white from the previous characters. The orange and maroon doesn't say undead to me.

So, I'm confused now. I reserved mine a week ago, before they announced the free single character pack. Will they only give me Lightcore Hex, or will they also give me a free single pack? Is this an offer for only people who reserve the game from now until June 29th, or are people who previously pre-ordered included, too?

To be fair, it's kind of... shallow, I guess? to have everything be color coded by element.

I think it's kind of creative in a way. I do agree the design is more suited to earth or life, but I don't mind it being undead.

Yeah same here, about both the creativity and which element he seems more suited to.

I guess we will have to wait and see Rattle Shake's powers. How about an attack where he spit out his skeleton, and maybe use it like a whip? That would also suit with the fact that snakes periodically change their skin. An, it is also not to exclude a change of colors. I like him, but we already seen a change in Wash Buckler and Blast Zone's colors, so, why not?

Popthorn is pretty clearly a baby leaf bat (or whatever they're called) and a pun on plants/popcorn - which goes back to the leaf bat idea. Not a dragon. Calm yourself.

Vicarious Visions are probably in charge of approving the character designs, but I do hope that they also worked on the backstories of the new Skylanders.
