Don't forget that Pop Fizz went trought many transformations, during his experiments. I personally think that having characters from different species, would make them feel more unique, and special, but if they characterize those creature well, like they ipothetically did with the Sky Barons Hoot Loop and Jet Vac, and differentiate them, then it's fine.

So we are only missing info on 4 of the sixteen Swaplanders? The two Earth, another Air and another Magic from what I see. That's quite a bit more info than we had for Giants this time last year. The newlanders are another story since over half of them are still unknown.

Believe it or not, I'm more curious about the new Corelanders, rather than the Swaplanders. They are not restricted to the "attachment belt", and they can get more creative (Popthorn, the unnamed Earth Skylander... ecc). I was just thinking that we never had a winged bipedal Skylander. I would like to see one, maybe even a Swap one.

Exactly. I was meaning that we don't have any winged flying bipedal Skylander. We have Jet Vac and Gill Grunt, but they don't use wings to fly. I would really like to see a skylander flying like an angel. Or a demon.

7 of those have known names, while there are 9 in total. We have about half of the Core Skylanders discovered either way. We nearly have ALL of the new Skylanders discovered!

I must say, E3 did exactly what it was supposed to: it got me excited about a game I was becoming a bit meh about.

I wasn't won over by the new toy designs previously and the addition of jumping means nothing to me. I didn't miss it, and now it's just going to complicate gameplay.

But now having seen not only more characters (some great, some not so much) and more importantly, gameplay, I'm in! I'm really looking forward now to getting this and playing these new characters, particularly the new corelanders, who seem a whole lot more creative than the swappers. After seeing the gameplay vids, I'm even interested in playing those characters whose designs didn't win me over at first.

Well watching the various videos is interesting. For the Swap Force figures gold must be divided by the halves, but more interesting is the health loss when you combine different halves. Wash Blade had 378 at level 5, while Wash Buckler has 478 and Freeze Blade has 392. Another interesting thing is they might be doing all new health advancement since Crusher has 658 in Swap Force at level 5 while in Giants he is at 679.

I don't think that is the case as they said the top half would hold most of the memory such as gold,levels and I think HP.

That's an interesting thing you notice about the health differential. Maybe the swaps have less health when swapped? Maybe they skimp on the lower levels so we don't have 2000 health at level 20

if you take ssa figures in sg you will see health difference too.... you only need to do more heroics to get them up again... but some you dont gain much of what you lost.. and some is more powerful again, it varies... same goes for swap force by the look of it...

all we have to do when we get swap force game is to find out who is the most op of the characters.... its gonna be the best character to do the trophies with.

The concept of Cali and Flynn becoming figures doesnt appeal to me, because that would imply something bad happens to them in game similar to the original Skylanders (throw to Earth, frozen at toys) and how they are only able to be summoned by a Portalmaster.

If you watch one of the skylanderboyandgirl's videos, it was officially released that there will be a Flynn/Cali adventure/battle pack.

His most recent posting on the YouTube channel implied at least Cali.

Yep, nobody said she would be an item, just said that she would be involved, in the story of the Aventure Pack probably.

I think Cali decides to join the skylanders to try to impress Flynn after he meets the other cat-girl and starts falling in love with her ... or their picture is on one of the area items.

Yes, the image is obviously fake, the the video it came from is from a legitimate source that was at E3. They made the image to go with the fact they were told the concept was in the works.
