lightning rods cloud wont light up because it is the base. the lightning could though. idk who the lightcores are gonna be and i really dont care because i only get lightcores from new characters

about the swap force characters.... i think only the bottom part will be lightcore in my opinion... because of the whole magnet thing

Well to be honest, the magnets could also power the lightcore lights in the top half of the figure. I wouldn't put both parts of the figure lighting up completely out there. It's possibly. However I think Magna Charge is the ownly swappable that looks to light up so far. I also find it redundant (and confusing with swappablility) to have a swappable lightcore character. I think only corelanders will be lightcore.

These are LightCores that I would actually buy because I don't think that they'd look absolutely silly:

• Wham-Shell should have a blue lit-up mace. His art and Poseidon Strike on PC suggest that it's electric, so I think that should be reflected.
  
• Terrafin should have the little spots on his back lit-up. They already are a bit in the game, but I think it would be fun to see exaggerated.
  
• Drill Sergeant should have the white stuff between his grates (I didn't intend that) lit up. How awesome it would be to be tunnelling through like that.

I read about an idea for a glowing Ghost Roaster in Ectoplasm mode, but I think that that would be redundant since you can't see it in the game unless you use the move.

I just hope that we don't get any light-up eyes. They look terrible on Ninjini.

If Flashwing doesn't get a lightcore I will be extremely confused/disappointed.

I think that the unreposed from SSA should get a LC pose.

Warnado: Shell or tornado
Dino-Rang: Boomerangs or armor
Sunburn: Uh... the tail or the blue part of his chest?
Camo: The yellow spikes
Voodood: Axe or helmet
Boomer: Beard or dynamite
Ghost Roaster: Tail or skull
Wham-Shell: Mace or teeth or spikes

Spyro and Cynder as they already had reposes it seems like a good fit, unless they'll follow the new repose with the variant title attached and have different in game models which would be interesting to see.

the 8 from ssa who didnt get a reapose should all be lc for ssf

I think 4 newlanders, 4 S3. Just a guess, but I think tech, Fire, Undead, and Earth will be the newlanders while Magic, Water, Life, and Air are the S3.

While some of you say the Forgotten 8 or figures not getting reposed into S3 should be the LCs, and I agree that they should, I just don't see this as likely to actually happen.

Wrecking Ball, in his force field. And Cynder, lightning ablaze, doubt there will be more than four reposed LCs.

Warnado: Tornado (They need to put the baby warnados in the pose too but they don't have to light up)
Dino Rang: Obsidian Armor
Sunburn: He could be breathing fire or teleporting, the fire in any of those could light up.
Camo: Tail or melons
Voodood: Staff or Tripwires
Boomer: Bombs?
Ghost Roaster: His eyes and mouth or if in ectoplasm mode his whole skull
Wham Shell: Like mentioned earlier he could be striking his staff on the base causing an electrical light up effect

It has been confirmed that a new Magic skylander is a lightcore. I cannot remember her name, but it has been confirmed.

It was confirmed by one that works at TFB and did some videos with FamilyGamer.

Starstrike is a lightcore skylanders!

And there is a video by FGT that shows that Grim Creeper will have a Lightcore version, and a different video for Lightcore Star Strike.
