After see what s2 drobot looked like I decided to make my own drobot and plan to do a rfid swap when i get an s2. This is my first custom figure and i wanted him to look like his in game appearance (master blaster path), yes he is jointed what do you guys think?

I own the L-Bash, Sparx, and Pop Fizz he has done.

He sells them on eBay.

I am planning on buying a cheap Tree Rex to make a custom. I will call him something. (Can't know my secrets guys!) Would hot glue work on a Skylanders figure?

I can always count on DS members to come up with clever names

At some point I read a post and the person had said they would like to find Skylanders that had either come off their pedestals or had pieces that had come off that were in the box still. Can that person or someone who that would help please PM me.

and that stealth elf, IDK why but seacoral stealth elf sounds neet!

I am nearly done with my custom Tree Rex. I just need to fine tune his paint job, then I can see if I can post it.

Anyone know how to seal metallic paint without wrecking it? High Gloss doesn't seem to work because it dulls the metallic sheen.

Or do metallic paints hold well and not require lacquering/sealant? I just don't want it to get wrecked aftertime or get fingerprints all over it.

My (nearly) finished variant of Jungle Tree Rex! (All I have to do is fine tune the paint and get some different vines). It has a jungle look, don't you agree? This is my first variant, so don't criticize badly.

All it needs is christmas lights just kidding , looks awesome i can't even do anything like that

A little heavy on the vines, though. It looks nice, but the vines cover most of it up, and seem kinda fat and bulky. But hey, that's like the jungle, isn't it?

So I'm guessing that no one knows the answer to this? I can't seem to find anything about it on Google Search, either, but there are Skylanders figures, like Pearl Hex, that are really reflective and shiny; they must have sealed/lacquered the pain somehow.

I was worried about fingerprints wrecking it and the paint fading after time, but I'm mainly going to put my repainted characters on display and not play with them, so I guess that it really doesn't matter.

I'm going to order some Chinese protos soon, and any ones that don't work in game, I'll custom. But seeing as how I am with paint (unsteady hand, combined with the need for absolute perfection rarely ends well), I might just cut some fabric and create cloaked versions or something along that line. I can already taste an Organization XIII Eye Brawl...
