For the new magic Skylander I feel it is going to be a girl. The way it has a hood makes it looks so mysterious, so I think it's Soul Gem will be that it takes its Hood Off and shoots out magic beams out of the eyes.

E3 2013 is next week. New info may look this weekend, or at the beginning of next week.

Actually, E3 is the week after (11th-13th)

Hm last year they showed trailers and videos starting June 5th.

It is possible that they make a some kind of announcement just prior to E3. They did that before toy fair this year.

Its not a bad idea to ride a wave of publicity right into the convention. Activision may get more bang for their media bucks by slipping some info early.

I wish that they had just put some info in Gameinformer each month. It's getting annoying waiting so long just to hear a bit of info. New characters, anything. They were perfect about it with Giants

I remember when they played the same time as the Nintendo conference last year. Oh lord, it was not difficult to decide between them. I hope that they do not do the same this year because I want to watch, especially since I'm still undecided on wether I'm actually getting this.

Well, they didn't start doing that until after E3 last year; so there's still the very high possibility that they'll do it again.

Nintendo aren't even at E3 2013 - so there's no chance they'll clash

Nintendo is at E3 2013....But they don't have a "press conference", Nintendo makes a lot of Nintendo Directs to the E3, where they announce a lot of new Games for Wii U and 3DS....

You do realise that the same thing happened with Giants? I don't see why so many people expected loads of news the first few months after the game was announced; there are very few games that release any information for months after the game is announced.

Mainly because we got S2/ LightCore/ Giant/ Newlander images and info way before E3.

Some reviewers can make up speculation that they believe will be revealed later on. We won't know until info coming from Activision or TFB confirms FG's claim.
