I'm having a hard time finding a list of the triple packs (besides trying to look on amazon) that have come out or will be coming out for Skylanders Giants. I don't want to buy the single packs if the figures are going to be coming out in triple packs...like I know Fright Rider is in a triple pack, I just haven't seen it anywhere yet. Does anyone know where I can find out?

Fright Rider, Wrecking Ball, and Flameslinger is available now in the UK and Australia.

Slam Bam, Shroomboom, and Hex will not be out until Wave 5 comes out.

Hot Dog, Bash, and Spyro is the same as above.

It's just ridiculous that all figures haven't been released yet. The game released 8 months ago.

Honestly, if they are sticking with an October release date every year, they need to get every figure on shelves before the end of the year.

Camo and Wham-Shell were very cool figures in SSA (Camo especially IMO) but they were released late (Wham-Shell was in June 2012, I believe), so they didn't get re-posed because they were not among the most popular figs. How about letting the public decide who the most popular figs are by releasing them all within a few months of each other and seeing who sells the best? There's an idea for you.

And don't post here saying that you like prolonging the release dates because it helps you budget better. If you don't have money to buy the figs, that's not my problem. I have the money, I'm willing to spend it, and it would be nice to play with any figure I want from the get-go instead of winning the game and waiting for the rest of the figures to be released months later.

Himewad has a good point. If Activision is going to withhold character releases for 8+ months after the game is released, they really do need to AT LEAST include additional game content with the straggling late arrival characters ... sorta like the Adventure Packs from SSA.

It almost seems like they TRIED to add content with the Battlegrounds game (because you unlock figs by owning their physical character), but considering how they have completely abandoned that game, it leaves them with a lot of egg on their face.

Releasing extra content would be nice. I would probably buy them if they released physical adventure packs like in the past, but I would prefer to download any new levels at this point.

That's why I kept saying they need 6 Adventure Packs per game.

This way, people will at least have a reason to play every other month, and will get access to a Skylander every other month, for sure.

Release schedule could be -

October
December
February
April
June
August

and then people could wait for the newest game to come out two months later. This also helps people get to play a new level of the game every other month.

Not to be devil's advocate or nothing, but...

They use this ridiculous release schedule in a lame attempt to keep interest up throughout the year. Without this release schedule, people would get tired of the game in like February and interest would dry up. (not completely, but a lot). Sure, it seems wrong and unfair to be deprived of the option of playing certain characters the first time you play the game, but, they're more interested in keeping interest up.

Secondly, NO, Camo and Wham Shell (and whoever else) were not excluded due to low sales due to late release. By the time they were released, they (Activison/Toys For Bob) were way too far into the development of Giants for that decision to still be pending. After all, they had to decide on exactly who would exist before getting very far into development, because EVERYBODY has to be coded into the game, and as far as I know Giants was presented at E3, which was in Spring 2012. Having enough to present at E3, I would estimate that the roster had to have either been set by then, or soon after. BEFORE Camo and Wham Shell were released. So, no, logically, sales could not have had an impact on deciding who to repose and who not to. It must have been some combination of prediction on popularity and just random selection.

RIP GhostRoaster. He's reanimated as TakeYourLemons but occasionally is resurrected from the beyond when needed.

Also, I don't think these will make it here, but;

Sonic Boom, Sprocket, and Stump Smash triple pack WITH either Glitter Sprocket, Glitter Sonic Boom, or even (Unlikely) Flocked Stump Smash.

I'm at a loss as to what they are trying to do here. Sure, we just got Scarlet Ninjini, but we are almost 3 months out from a release of new regular series figures in the US. I simply do not know what they are waiting on, particularly for LC Pop Fizz and Chill. Here we are almost two months later than last year in getting the last of the figures out for the game, with no info, no ideas, no nothing from Activision/TFB.

Given that all four remaining normal series figures (and Polar makes five) are already out in at least two different forms already, do they think they gin up excitement in anyone other than collectors with putting them out later? Kids won't go crazy about another Drobot. Scarlet Ninjini brought some interest because the original is still somewhat uncommon and a lot of people didn't have her already. But, as you can tell by the lack of activity in less than a week from major release it didn't last long. Heck, you can still order her from many sites, and find her in many stores.

Maybe it is production issues, and they shipped in smaller markets because that was all they had. Maybe they had a glut of old stock they wanted to clear out first. Who knows. But, I don't see how frustrating the only people that have real interest in their last few figures (the collectors) is considered a good business plan.

After all, last year they had the sidekicks to buff up summer interest before the new game, and they still have that in their pocket.

Some ppl have stated that stores still have alot of wave 2 and wave 3. today at my local target they were restocking wave 2 and 3 giants out of the box. Same old same lightcores are also up. I dont think lightcores are moving which might be why the delay in the lightcores in the USA. I do find it weird that other spots have them but maybe june we will see them.

I hardly call One Chapter "Gameplay" for Two months time.
Adventure Packs should include a whole storyline, like 3-4 Chapters.(Example in S:SA Getting the water source was more than a level)
