A tornado ran through my neighborhood once. Didn't hurt my house, but the power was out for 4 days, it absolutely demolished the power lines.

I was once in a tornado warning. No tornado though but there was a funnel cloud over the city of Reading, PA in my county. It was predicted to go into my town. I was really scared. And when it came on TV, a lightning strike that was really loud occured.

Glad you're alright.

Australia gets very few tornadoes or earthquakes, but we do get quite a lot of cyclones (hurricanes) and bushfires. All of them terrifying in their own rights.

Yesterday I saw on the news, those horrible pictures of how tornadoes destroyed everything. There are a large number of victims, I think we are 32 dead and more than 222 families affected by that. Although, I think those are minimum details. Probably today in my country, the news report more about that. I just hope that will not happen again, and no would more people affected and / or dead.

Glad to hear that users from here who live there are alright.

I've heard some very horrifying things about bushfires. They're like the deadlier cousins of wildfires in the states.
