I thought about buying him from Amazon.de. But I know ill end up buying the US hanging type when it comes out--so why buy two.
Normally I'd buy whichever one I can get fastest for my kiddo to open and play with and a second one for the "unopened collection." But to be honest, my son isn't too excited about these last characters. Occasionally he talks about Pop Fizz LC and he is more excited about Hex LC...but Overall I think the delay of release of characters has diminished his excitement and also he is really really really excited about Swap Force. So, Ill just wait until they are released here in the US.
If anybody finds anything out about the TRU release date for preorders---Id love to know.
Oh and Hot Dog 542---We'd LOVE to take a trip to New Zealand for any reason---LOL!

i got tired of waiting and no info forthcoming so it ordered lc pop fizz and polar whirlwind off amazon.it, funny part is it only cost $8 dollars more than preordering just lc pop fizz from TRU after shipping was included.

LC Pop Fizz is out in Australia and has been for some time... Haven't really been collecting LCs yet (still trying to finish my SSA set and get all 8 Giants from series 2), but when I start collecting Series 2 non-giants LC Pop Fizz will be one of my first!

I just got my 2 Polar Whirlwind today from amazon.it, cost me around $42 all together but i mostly got my money back since i sold my other Polar for $40

Well, I'm actually pretty satisfied about Pop Fizz's light effect. As usual it's minimal, but in his case it works, it's just the bottle. What I also found cute is that the bottle glows IN THE GAME! So far I only have Jet Vac and Legendary Chill as Lightcores, and I can't recall them glowing at all in game (I of course don't mean the entrance POW, that's well documented and hard to miss). And even including the Giants, none of them seem to light up in the game. Pop Fizz is my first that I also have a non-lightcore version, I have Punch, so I was able to compare, and there is a definite difference here! I think it's cute.

Pop fizz lc will ship at some point. I estimate late May to mid june on this.

All lightcores (minus Giants, which have lights but aren't considered "lightcores") have their glowing part glow in the game. This is even true in the 3DS game, too. I have them all except for Hex, so not sure about her but I'm sure she does.

Actually, I saw a video yesterday where they were playing LC Hex, who I know that her effect is a red glow between her legs, and in the video, in the game, she had the same red glow. They were pointing out what it looks like, and they'll want to set her nickname to Aunt Flo. Hadn't caught that before, will never be able to NOT think of it now.

I guess it's just that I haven't seen NON lightcore Jet Vac or Chill to compare, to really notice.

Most of the LCs simply have a glow effect; Molten had the same effect. I guess they wanted to do something a bit different here lol.

I got LC Pop Fizz and LC Chill a few weeks ago from Amazon.it. Really happy with LC Pop Fizz. His bottle lights up nice and bright, and the bottle itself is larger and more detailed than his regular figure (actual measurement lines sculpted onto the bottle). I think his Lightcore effect is the second best out of the eight (nothing beats LC Prism Break), although I haven't seen LC Hex in person yet.

LC Chill is as disappointing as her Legendary version (only bottom of lance lights up). I finally got to take her down the ice block path, but I'm seriously considering resetting her and having all three of my Chills on the ice lancer path since the ice blocks are crap IMO.

Well guys he is now out in UK and US still doesn't have him!

Nice find. Placed an order for one of each, in order to get american peg versions of them.

Also, Triple Pack 7 (Fright Rider, Wrecking Ball, Flameslinger) is instock on Amazon.com right now for shipping. LC Pop and Chill are preorders, while TP7 is instock. Got one of those as well, to replace the Euro peg version I have hanging on the wall.

Wow---bummer--no LC pop fizz or chill--at amazon prices anyway $35.00 and up...
I missed it I guess. I did get the triple pack ordered. Maybe I did something wrong so others should check. Thanks for posting either way

This is funny...the one day I decide not to view the threads due to the extreme non-excitement of keeping skylanders in the forefront (epic fail there Activision). I'd rather pick them up in store anyway cause I almost always get them damaged otherwise.

Since it hasn't been mentioned yet, the pre-order (while it was active) for LC Pop Fizz and Chill said that they would ship starting on the 26th. That's the day to keep refreshing Amazon; I can almost guarantee some overflow beyond what has been pre-ordered alone. Amazon is known for deep stock, and last night's offering was tiny at best.

Yeah man I can't understand people paying extra cash for these guys, as they'll be extremely common in a short amount of time. Got Chill on the way but Pop Fizz was gone by the time I checked. Hopefully he'll be about and about soon.

^ I felt the same way when they showed up on Amazon.it early. It's like, sure, I could have LightCore versions of characters I already own a little early, but that's a whole different ballgame from Polar Whirlwind, who I was more than happy to get from Amazon.it to spare myself the trouble later. Now, with Prime shipping, they didn't cost extra at all, and I avoid the hassle of looking through stores for them.

Same here i ordered Polar Whirlwind instead of Lightcore Pop Fizz because i know Lightcore Pop Fizz will be easier to find when his out and they will always have it in stocks like the other Lightcores unlike Polar Whirlwind she will be release in limited quantities just like Scarlet Ninjini.

Got mine today from amazon.it, turned out to be a good deal all in all and now i don't have to try to store crawl and battle when polar comes out and avoid the scramble of the limited stock near my area. such a pain to have to make time to get to denver and scour stores on the off chance the scalpers havn't beat me to them yet.

This kid went hunting and found LC Pop Fizz and LC Chill, i think he went to Australia Target to get them. They even have the Triple Pack Fright Rider, Wrecking Ball and Flameslinger.

He must be about two and a half feet tall.
