Haven't for a while, though I still love both the Classic and LoS games, and will eventually play through them all again. And I want to get A Hero's Tail again.

I haven't gotten a Skylanders game, and I don't intend to buy one, though if I could just get in touch with a particular friend of mine more often, I could borrow one of the games and a few toys for a bit, so I could try the series out and have some proper thoughts on it.

I'm gonna ask a question. Why, did you ask that question on a Spyro/Skylanders forum site? I mean at least a good sum have played a Spyro game. And normally the newbies are Skylander players.

Yes. I'm going though Spyro 3 right now.
I only enjoy the Classics and the LoS games, though.

When ever I get an emulator on my system, I get Spyro and play it to 100%. I usually get emulators 5 times a year.

Yes, I have both.

And I can't do that since my parents (or grandparents) manage over everything I want to buy and they probably wouldn't. We have two Spyro 2 discs already, so all I need to do is find one of them and see if it's the working one, and if that one doesn't work, it shouldn't be very hard to find the other.

But I can just suck it up and play it on the emulator. If I can get the stupid monitor on my laptop working, that is.



I know of a program that allows one to use a PS3 controller to play games on a PC. It works with emulators too. I myself used it to play Spyro 3 on a PSone emulator. I also use it to play certain PC games. It works a charm. You can even assign actions to the Sixaxis if you so desire, and customise the button layout, and have your PC read it as various kinds of joypads (including an Xbox 360 controller).

I can help you get set up on it later if you wanted.

Admittedly, I haven't played any Spyro games lately. I lost my PlayStation's memory card, so that's the main reason why.

I play it occasionally, though not as often as I used to. I haven't even beaten Giants yet and haven't touched it in months. The last one I played was Year of the Dragon using the PS3, which actually wasn't that long ago. Other than that it's been months since I touched any Spyro game.

I still do play DotD (the only Spyro game I own, by the way) sometimes. Mostly when I want to get some inspiration for my fanfic. It's not such a big thing as it used to.

Don't get me wrong, I like the franchise. That's partly why I'm still here, and I'll talk about Spyro if someone's interested.
Still, this is Stuff and Nonsense. Spyro related discussion doesn't even belong here.
