I was thinking about this today and was wondering why they made 3 magic, 2 earth, 1 fire, 1 air and 1 life instead of 1 from each element. I also realised that the was no series 2 undead variant.
What are you thoughts on this? Who would you like to see as an Undead variant?

Undead really did get the short end of the stick- at least Tech and Water have had 2 legendarys. I really don't undrstand why Magic gets 5 variants (L-spyro, Dark spyro, Punch, Royal and scarlet) when Undead gets 1- i understand that spyro ebing the main guy in game one would warp it a little- but there does seem to be alot of bias..

I truly hope/wish that they don't tie game systems or starter pack to variants in the future--cause I'm not going there next time.

We both know they most likely will. I agree though, It would've been nice if Series 2 had an Undead in-game variant. Though that element did get 2/3 of the GiTD's.

I was referring to series 2 figures. As for the legendary figures I consider them a different sub set.

From the original post it was clear Legendarys were being excluded
It makes sense for UNdead to get the GITD variants as their base glows anyway, but that's not that same as an in-game one, especially for those of us who mostly care about ingame variants Hopefully they will fix this in Swap Force, i'll be happy if we can go the entire of swap force with no more magic variants, there are WAY too many |
