The sidekicks are as useless as this thread.

Actually they are a kind of invulnerable meat shields...but don't expect much of a difference.

If you ever played world of warcraft they are sort of like pets were in the game before mist of pandaria. They basically just follow you around and do nothing..

But the Sidekicks are pretty cool. When I played as smilie and when my friend was smilie, we were electrocuting smilie. We did that with smilie and smilie too. It was awesome

GameStop is going to have them all through May in the US. If you buy $19.98 or more worth of Skylanders you'll get a free sidekick. (saw an in-store ad today.) Gonna get a Whisper Elf if I can. smilie

The Giants ones are still unreleased right now.

No, now it looks like it'll be $20-worth-of-merch-THEN-you-get-it. smilie Not THAT different. And if that's really what they're doing, it seems quite repetitive, and since it's the second time it SHOULD be the Giants Sidekicks.

Folks are ignoring it because all newcomers should visit Site Help and Instructions Forum ( //forum.darkspyro.net/spyro/viewtopics.php?forum=15 ) as well as look at the site help ( //forum.darkspyro.net/spyro/help/ ) before asking such questions.

Using the search function is great as well. In it you would've found the answer was in this thread:

Yes, people should read the Site help, but when they have one simple question, it's easier and simpler for someone to just answer the question. smilie And anyone who was ignoring the question for THAT reason should have at least said so, maybe even share some links like you did.
