I heard on another thread that Jadewing is going to no longer be produced. I.e. she's not going to be available except on store shelves with moms and kids fighting over her. Is this true? I don't doubt the user who said it, I just want some additional confirmation. If this is the case, her collectable value will soon skyrocket (I'm happy if it beats inflation, but I'm betting even with inflation its value will go up at least 50-100% a year)! Remember to keep her in her box if you buy her!

So again, any more confirmation or news articles on Jadewing's status? I must know if she's ending, if so, I'll buy her offline, but if she's not, I'll try and get a friend in the USA to pick her up for me.

um, all skylanders at some point or another become "discontinued" (i.e. that particular toy in that particular packaging is no longer manufactured)
I doubt Jade is special in that regard.

The 4 variants after their short initial run are most likely going to be discontinued and probably will be 4 of the things come swap force that will raise in value unless they get made a series 3 of which I doubt.

It's like trying to find molten now in the US. If the store doesn't have it, it's discontinued at this point, the same with Jade. The stores that got her in the US will only have them for 2 weeks, etc. It's very rare unless some get shipped within this month or the next of finding her as in they had an extra shipment, someone returned her, etc.

I meant is she getting discontinued like, this week? Well, since it seems it'll be impossible to get Scarlet (<3) in the US, Jadewing seems like the next-best variant, and I'm sure in 3 years she'll be worth a fortwoon (fortune, for those of you who don't speak cartoon accent).

When I want your opinion I'll give it to you! I think that Jade looks much better than her normal counterpart, but if you don't that's your problem. Growing up in Asia, I find jade more tasteful than diamonds.

would say both.... mail truck/or plane can be a little jumpy. this happened to 2 of my skylanders that i ordered by mail.

I'd say that Target will eventually get one more shipment in sometime down the line. They did with Granite Crusher, but after that I'd imagine it'd definitely be "discontinued".

As for Molten, I'm actually a little surprised that they haven't had more of him in, especially considering Walmart usually has plenty of their exclusives. Maybe they're just waiting for the summer or something. I'd say Molten will probably come back out again though I'd also imagine that Walmart will be very careful about their exclusives considering how over saturated Red Drilly and GITD Sonic Boom were.

Get her while you can on eBay, because in about a month or two, prices on her will skyrocket.

I doubt she's getting discontinued already... She appeared rather late in the "game", she only came out like a month ago. It's a little early to stop making her already. There are no Targets around here, so I can't back this up with personal experience, just past experience.

Do remember that this is Target we're talking about. Jadewing is like Granite Crusher. Only released at the beginning, never restocking after all stock is gone.
