So last month was pretty exciting---Ninjini came early, Lightcore Legendary Chill, Hot Dog, Shroomboom, Spyro, Wrecking Ball...overseas saw Polar Whirlwind and Scarlet Ninjini...another push of SSA characters hits the streets...it was all pretty nuts there for a while. Now with the lull we get the cancellation of Universe, no news of replacement, no figures, and Disney Infinity breathing down our back. I've pretty much dosed off at the collecting wheel. We need moar figures or more Swap Force news...

Probably just as well....weather is getting nice and now time to have some other pursuits. I am passing the time nicely with variant collecting...but doesn't look like that will take too much longer. How are you passing the time waiting for the next wave?

I'm spending my time harassing customer service representatives at Amazon.de, since my shipment of Scarlet Ninjini has STILL not arrived.

Playing Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate! What a MASSIVE time eater. Love it.

I agree Ghost Roaster. Everytime Skylanders slows down, I lose motivation to even check stores.

I have no idea why wave 3 Triples are flooding the stores now (been seeing them all over Walmart and Best Buy), and not wave 4 Triples, which should be out now.

Sucks not knowing when - or IF - we will ever see LC Pop Fizz and Chill. My local stores still have plenty of boxes of wave 3 Lightcores, so I imagine there's a chance we won't see them at all, or at least for a very long time.

Things have really, really, really, dried up on the new release front, and it's getting kind of boring waiting for new stuff.

Guessing all the excitement this month will be Swap Force Info.

Most of mine are sold out of lightcores, so I keep checking every so often. TRU got in a box of Wave 3 LC a week ago, and today according to the stock counter they had two more cases come since yesterday though the guy was unable to find them in the box.

One of my close friends jumped on the Skylanders bandwagon, so we will probably be figure hunting for him.

Yikes---when did you order her? I decided against it and to wait for the inevitable USA wave--but definitely understand people wanting to get it out of the way. Ironically, I was using Universe as a way to help me manage my collection...now with that about to be gone---it's kinda deflated the competitiveness of it.

Actually, I've started to see Wave 4 triples ---that's the Eruptor and Prism Break ones right? If so, they are finally making an appearance, but I agree that the Wave 3 guys have definitely made a statement. Next go round I am going to limit the number of figures I buy at retail price at 1--and wait for a sale for any others.. That should spice it up a bit.

But of course we'll see LC Pop Fizz and Chill...they may wait until May/June timeframe to give the kids something to do over the summer...who knows. They really messed it up imo with them basically glowing versions of Wave 1 characters in terms of functionality and then expect us to pay more.

With the announcement of S3 Stealth Elf and all of these unsold Lightcores I think there's a push by Activision for their "core" skylanders from a brand perspective--but folks I think are tiring of re-purchasing the same characters. They need to bring the value next time or I see it getting worse. We'll see.

OK, well personally then my stores are still hanging out with Wave 2 triples. I only started seeing Wave 3 triples in my area starting last week.

Yeah, they were hard to get for the longest. However, I picked up my wave 3 triples the same day I picked up my kids Scorpion Striker. They had plenty of them at Gamestop, but Gamestop only.

I didn't start seeing wave 3 triples at Best Buy and Walmart until starting last week as well. Maybe Gamestop had exclusive rights to those too?

I'm leveling up skylanders and playing Call of Duty Black Ops II.

I agree x1000. For the most part I only pop on here once a day to see if anyone has found anything new. I still need Ninjini, but it seems like all the stores are just sitting on their stock now...nothing is moving.

Wonder what gives? Only real news is the Universe cancellation. We should have had Swap Force news by now: another character release or a new video. If we don't get anything from E3, whoever is in PR needs to get fired....

I'm passing the time by working on starting my Mega Bloks collection- gotten a few packs already and plan to get more- I had planned on getting the Mega Bloks but they aren't as near as important as the figures themselves, but I do want to get them for my collection and considering I'm up to date with all the figures as it is now is the perfect time to get some of them out of the way while I can.
So yep thats what I've been up too, and what I plan to continue to do till the next wave of figures come out.

I am going to jump in on this......

I said back in November/December when we had W1, W2, and part of W3 already out that come the spring people would be "complaining" (I don't see much of that here) because we have no new figures or anything. A lot of people wanted the stuff to come out all at once or faster than it has been coming out for Giants. Well, some people got what they wished for and are now seeing the effects.

i see now Ninjini showing up at 300 dollars at the black market here........... thats how long the skylanders crap have gone here. i am ****ing angry at activations now for not releasing at the same time as usa.

Well, showed my kids the Toy Box mode on Disney Infinity...looks like they would be happy just doing that. After seeing some of the videos showing how you can even change the behavior of the item when its triggered (call it programming via pre-determined outcomes) I have to admit now that it looks like it could be real fun.

So, I'm passing my days also evaluating if I'm even going to be messing with next skylanders? Why you ask? Well, if they do what they did to Giants my figures are about as good as chess pieces.

Toy box mode sounds like Create mode on Little Big Planet. With the triggers and behavior.
