Personally I don't think it looks much like a Skylander, those small parts on the head look like they'd be far too thin and it overall doesn't look very child-orientated.

That's Kamen Rider Scissors from Kamen Rider Ryuki.

You might've seen him in the American adaptation Kamen Rider Dragon Knight.

This is should confirm everyone's suspicions of this toy being a fake Skylander (for those who didn't see the post).

the only way giants feats of strength will be in swap force is to make the s2 in the starter pack to contain a giant reposed but i doubt they will do that....

And then what about the people who didn't get Giants? Knowing what they did with the SSA figures, you won't be able to buy all the SG figures new when SSF comes out so people who started on SSF won't be able to access the Giant areas.

Yes, you could probably still get them second hand or on ebay, but VV/Activision can't be 100% sure of that so they won't risk people not being able to access these areas.

Besides, what's really wrong with Giants just being larger Skylanders? That's all they really were in SG too. They will be larger, more powerful Skylanders that can kill small enemies simply by standing on them and will probably be able to break some walls without the use of bombs.

i know! when you first get the game it asks you if you are like a returning player (from ssa or sg) and if you are it will give you a chance to skip tutorials and it will ask you if you have a giant and if you do the game will include little bits for giants if you don't then it wont have!

Yep, Giants is clearly an enormous step up from SA.

Giants are pretty strong (there are a few normals who can beat them, but most fall due to having half the health of giants). Series 3 will likely replace series 2 rather quickly (i've decided to wait to buy a Series 2 and instead wait for S3).

Yeah I feel like, unlike the regular Skylanders, the special landers the games are subtitled after (Giants, Swap Force) are not going to be reposed but will instead just be continually produced.

At some point they'll stop producing them but I feel like that'll be longer than the 'landers of SSA.

If their S3 lineup of reposed doesn't include all of the SSA characters that haven't been reposed--will it be their intent to provide a market for those skylanders on eBay, or will they continue to manufacture and make those skylanders...or simply make consumers suffer? If they DO decide not to repose certain characters it tells ME ANYWAY that there's no such thing as discontinued stock...why would you NOT sell a toy that is in demand because future iterations will allow you to use that character? Just doesn't make sense to me.

I'm still perplexed at the number of consumers who want a GhostRoaster, but can't because they are still stuffing the other Adventure packs down our throat. The demand will ALWAYS be there if their in game model remains true...just because they decide not to repose doesn't mean they can't continue manufacturing them...however I see the branding/logos on the merchandise to get confusing....I sometimes wonder if they will continue to sell the unreposed characters in NEW packaging so buyers will know they can get that character.

Do we know anything regarding luck o tron wheels, legendary treasures, or charms? will these be returning?

No word yet. I'd assume something similar will still be in play, as they'll HAVE to provide something for us to "hunt" for in the levels.

For the adventure packs I predict that if there are to be four of them(like there were in SSA) they will have a Magic, Tech, Air, and Life character, because in SSA they had Water, Fire, Undead, and Earth characters.
