I know there are differences between them, but; to clarify:

Drill Sergeant has a deeper grey, more metallic colored paint on his Tech Base, and his red paint is darker/more metallic.

Whirlwind has a deeper grey Air Base.

Am I correct? Is there something else about Whirlwind (I got her at Gamestop DURING her Target exclusivity.)?

seems about right as i had to look at both again at you mentioning that as i kept them both in a box. Whirlwind does have a deep grey air cloud and the others didn't seem to have that

Taking that last ride through the sunset on skylanders. Hopefully a return of more classic spyro gameplay in the horizon.

UPC is different if I remember correctly.

The one in the middle is the "new" Drill Sarge, which started appearing in the mass retail stores, while the one on the far left notably is missing the grey/silver paint for the cogs and he's also a bit more glossier in his paint. (Looking really closely at mine, I can actually see little metallic flakes in it!) Far left is the Walmart Exclusive.

EDIT: here we go.

The opened one is the original one from Target (I actually bought it about a week before SSA was released!) and the one in the package is the newer retail version. The mass retail one has a blue hue to the cloud. Drill Sarge has a much more noticeable difference however.

@ Matteomax: I guess Hunters don't use the search function anymore!? Below are previous discussions to what you're asking. GM actually gives the correct UPC for both figures in the following threads. Ironically enough, you made at least one of the posts in the Target Whirlwind thread below...
