My lightning rod has a few yellow paint smears on the right side of his cloud.

^My s1 version of him has some brown paint on his chest. It looks like chest hair!

that spyro looked kinda like a protype just wait for our fellow protype buyer sees this

It seems the female humanoids always have poor hair paint jobs. Both my Stealth Elf and Sprocket have black mixed in with their hair.

I allways pick the neatly painted Skylanders. Sometimes if I get a 3 pack I might get a messed up one like my Derpy eyed Dinorang

Sprockets ment to look grubby and Stealthy has dark hair anyway so what do you expect?

Not sure if it counts as a bad paint job, but that's sorta what it is... Picked up my Scarlet Ninjini today, and found out her Lightcore effect is messed up. On Ninjini, her face lights up so that the bottom half of her face doesn't, and neither do her ears, looking like she's wearing a ninja mask to cover her mouth and ears. Cool! But on Scarlet, the dark part is blotchy, leaving the tip of her nose lit, then a squiggly line of dark/light up her nose into her hairline.

Anybody else notice that Scarlet's skintone and hair colour make her look like a bigger Stealth Elf? With her swords she even has a mirror image pose as S1 Stealth Elf and her knives...

^Re: Regular Ninjini: Ninjini's whole head is supposed to light up. Even her ears and bottom half of her face.

I can't believe that. The effect is so perfect, the line is perfectly straight. It sounds more like yours is missing the light-blocking paint.

Also it's TOO much of a coincidence that she's called Ninjini, that part of her theme is ninja-based, and the light effect on mine looks like a ninja mask? WAY too much of a coincidence. Pretty sure I've also seen pictures showing the same effect on other people's Ninjinis.

Meh, I can take that. I did get one of the Ninjini's from TRU.

Anyways, from the youtube videos I checked (including GameMaster's) it seems that everyone's "ninja mask" effect varies. One had it perfect where it was just hair (I still don't get why that lights up) and the top half of her face but GM's looked like she had a beard.

Wow, that's messed up, LOL! I would be creeped out if my Ninjini looked like she had a beard (well, about as creeped out by the fact that my Scarlet Ninjini looks like she has a bad skin condition)

Any more Thumpback bad paint jobs?

I have a few! My Stealth Elf has a big scratch on the left of her face; from her hair to her chin. It's kinda annoying. The part of Hex's arms where it meets the dress have two HUGE blue paint splotches on them. On my Wham-Shell, there are spots of silver on his mace. It actually looks kinda cool haha! On my Swarm's left blade/saw/hand thing has some big splotches of yellow paint on them. But my Sunburn takes the top of my list for bad paint jobs; His beak is basically half red. the is a HUGE, and I mean HUGE blob of yellow paint on Sunburn's head. He has a bunch of red scratch marks on his hand, and one of his nail's tip is yellow. AND they forgot to paint a spot on his stomach! I would post pictures, but I don't own a camera, nor do I know how to upload them.

I saw a Flashwing with a bent up wing at Target today.

I have a Flashwing figure that had a small splotch of yellow paint on her...I was like "how on Earth did YELLOW pain get on her?! She doesn't have yellow on her at all!" Well at least luckily it was just a pain chip, so my Dad was able to get it off, LOL. Plus I still wonder why they didn't bother to pain Spyro's claws...?

Although I know this isn't paint related, I once saw an Ignitor in packaging without his sword...and I don't recall seeing it in the package at all.

My S2 Bash has a tiny minuscule dot of yellow paint on by his eye. It doesn't bother meh, the rest is perfect.

My only skylanders that have messed up paint jobs are only L-Bouncer and Hot head, luckily L-Bouncer's messed up paint job is only on the back side of his figure, while my hot head has a defective eye paint job

My Eye-Brawl has a dot at about the 11:30 position of his iris. Wasn't sure if that was intentional decoration until I saw it wasn't on my nephews' figure this weekend. LOL! It's like he has some cataract or something, LOL!

At least she has a bit of a chrome paint job on her, her armor and skin look so shiny (unlike her picture of her figure, which looks plastic-y)!

but still, over all the quality defiantly went down compared to SSA

Ignitor almost ALWAYS has a terrible one.

Lots of Jet-Vacs look like they're rolling their eyes, plus I saw a Crusher with BROWN paint on his arms and legs where he should have light gray instead. So sad.
