CoroCoro has leaked Pokemon Rumble U. It uses figures to interact with the game. What do you think of this?

Heard about this too. I'm happy that Nintendo is finally taking advantage of the Wii U's NFC capabilities, and, seeing how cheap the figures are, if I got the game, I'd probably get the figures.

^ I agree, I've been waiting a while for Nintendo to actually use the Wii U's NFC reader. I think that they should take advantage of it even more because it's such a neat idea to incorporate a reader directly on the gamepad like that.

Actually, Rumble will be just like Skylanders now. Even though I used to think Skylanders was "revolutionary" since it uses toys, I also think it has the same idea as Rumble in terms of gameplay where you run around with a few attacks and fight tons of enemies with your friends. Now that Rumble incorporates toys, it's a less expensive version of Skylanders that anyone can pick up a Wii Remote and have fun.
I still want a Drifloon or Espeon figure though. |

If the figures really do sell for $2 each this will a must have for the Wii U. |

^ That would be a really good deal if they're only that price where I live (in the US). Though, I think that they should be priced at $2.99 USD to no more than $4.99 USD.

The previous Rumble game included like all of the Pokemon. It would like impossible to make 648 Pokemon toys for this game, especially for collectors.

Well, this one is gonna contain all the Pokemon. Whether or not there are figures for all, is a different matter. The figures are just optional (there's two version of that Pikachu figure, apparently. One being stronger and having a different ability.)

I'm sure they could do it if they really tried. If they had 5 factories that made a different Pokemon every day, then they could make them all in 130 days, which is less than 5 months. They could do it in giant waves like Skylanders did xD |

I think that $2 is amazing, if they'll have moves and data stored in them. Now I'm wondering how I could have possibly bought a single Skylander for over $10, let alone 21.

There's also toy design, that'll take some time, and um... Oh right, I think they have bits and pieces for conversion because I think Wii U's code is different from Wii. Really don't have any idea, but there's some stuff that'll slow it down.

Nope, no catch! The figures are only optional. If you don't get them, you can still experience the full game. If you want them, get them! If not, you can leave them. |

^Well, I think availability is just based on how many people want it. Not something that can be changed. I think that won't be an issue because it's optional and just a bonus. If they have figures for a few Pokemon, they'll probably be easy to find each one, and if they made figures for ALL of the Pokemon, Pokemon like Mew and Arceus would be extremely rare. If they made shinies, they would probably be made say, one out of 100 times.
