I'm wondering about you collectors,
1. do you only get singles?
2. get 3 packs?,
3. do you get a mix of them?,
4. or do you get both?

I started getting 3 packs for giants to keep in package. I have all of SSA except the leg TRu 3-pack in package, i didst go for singles.
With Giants I have the option to do both, but I'm trying to decide if its worth it or not.
What do you all do?

I try to get triples whenever I can but if I can't I'll get singles.

personally I rarely get triples. I just try to get one of every character, and the triple packs normally have ones I already have.

I get both of what ever triple packs I like and the singles. I open some and keep some sealed its more than fun to collect and play.

For SSA, I got triples for all the figures (except Wham shell of course) because for SSA they were only $20, so it was like getting one free character!! Now, 3 packs are $25 at all the stores and it's not as good of a deal, so I definitely haven't bought many 3 packs this time around!!

^I agree. The 3 packs I see don't seem to sell where either. Apparently, they are pricing themselves out.

I started singles only but now want triples if nothing else than for the packaging and artwork. I won't be pursuing this on SSF especially if prices go up again.

On D-Day of Giants I got Triple Packs but since then I have been getting the singles due to the fact that currently when the 3-packs come out, I have already got the characters. The 3 packs come out too late and I want the characters when they get release not to have to wait 1-2 months for a 3-pack that I dont know when/if one is release and who will be in it. 3-packs are only for those who can wait to save an extra $5. I for one cannot wait, I would rather spend the extra $5 for 3 new characters to get them early than to hope a 3 pack comes out with characters that I dont have. I can understand someone that is new to Giants, the 3-packs are benificial. I have been collecting since SSA-January. Call me Old-School.

I get singles. The only other Triple I got that wasn't exclusive was a Pop Fizz, Whirlwind, and Trigger Happy that had a Rock Whirlwind in it.

As long as I don't have them, I don't care which box they come in.

When I was trying to get the SSA characters (since I was late to the party), I had to buy the triple pack for Camo, Warnado, and Ignitor and then the Adventure Packs. I also buy the Battle Packs so I can get the item (Catapult, Dragonfire Cannon, Golden Dragonfire Cannon, etc.).

I'll also only buy the 3-packs if the character is only found in a 3-pack at that time (Shroom Boom, Chop Chop).

I don't keep any in the box so it doesn't really matter to me where I get it. I actually had to buy a 3-pack with Prism Break, Lightning Rod, and Drill Sergeant because it had the green Prism Break and the one I already have is blue. So I gave the Lightning Rod to my nephew and just have an extra Drill Sergeant.

I usually get singles.

Broken down by price per figure the triples are a better deal as they are cheaper at retail stores like target (where I always go). At other stores they may be more expensive, but the triple packs are always a better deal.

I get both,but mainly singles.I try to get triples to save money whenever I can.

This is what I do. When SSA was out I tried to get triples but w/ Giants I haven't bought any triples as they have duplicates of what I already have. I already think that my skylanders are multiplying on their own like tribbles.

i get triples if there is 2 figures i want, or if its a battle pack where i dont have one of the figures (and of course dont have the battle item)

Naw, I was just wondering what ppl bought/did. I'm debating collecting singles and triples for display sealed, but wondering if that was going overboard

I WAS collecting both, including both"hook" styles... but I've become disinterested in collecting three packs. That and the lack of room that I currently have has made it an easy decision to only collect singles. Obviously, with certain things I'm forced to buy the 3 packs, but in general I dont...

I only collect singles as I just think they look better. I open any 3 packs I buy. Only 3 pack I have sealed is the ssa legendaries.

I get triples if I can as they are cheaper per character, otherwise I get singles. They are going to get opened anyway so I don't care so long as I get the figure for a reasonable price

I try to get both but the problem about this game's triple paacks is when you release a new triple pack there is at least 1 character I already have (When Eruptor, Stealth Elf, and Terrafin triple came out I couldn't get it because of Terrafin).

I normally don't buy triple packs for Giants because they contain S2s I do not want.

Singles, I got a Hot Dog 3 pack, but only because I was desperate. Trying to sell the S2 Zap and the... mace thingy, idk

Singles. I got the Hot Dog and Shroomboom triple packs before I knew those two were coming out as singles. I figured it would be like SSA Ghost Roaster and SSA Terrafin. Those figures weren't released as singles until Giants. And, no one knew Giants was even an option then. Had Skylanders been a failure, Giants probably wouldn't have happened.

Whatever I see at the store first that I need!!
