Has anyone else seen this picture for a redesign of crash bandicoot? Not only does he look kinda skylander-ish but he also is standing on a base. There is also a skylanders spyro's adventure character poster next to him.

Yes, there's a topic posted about it in the Toys and Merchandise section. But we don't really know if Crash will be in the next Skylanders, or the poster just shows him possibly being in a new Crash game for the 3DS.

It could very well be a new crash game, but im kinda hoping for his inclusion in skylanders.

I like how a Skylanders little sticker card is right next to it which doesn't help that theory.

There's also a skylanders thing next to the other poster of a rocker guy. Doesn't mean he's a future skylander. Also the one next to crash is on the pole there and angled differently wouldn't look so close.

As much as I like mr. Bandicoot I don't think he'd be good for skylanders. It's its own game in its own right. They could've left spyro out and it'd still be making bank. I feel like another cameo would feel unoriginal and in the end most would not like it. Pretty much everyone I've ever discussed the game with out of this forum agree its not fair to spyro or skylanders that he's in it. It gives the makers an excuse to not make another spyro game itself and draws uniqueness away from what skylanders is.

I'd absolutely buy him day 1 and play the crap out of him tho lol

Attack 1: Throw an Apple?
Attack 2: Shoot a bazooka?
Attack 3: Spin attack

One path can help the radius and length of his Bazooka or something, while the other path strengthens his spin.

I hope he comes back. His games are bloody fun!

His first attack should be a spin, his second a bazooka, and the third should be summoning a beast that he can control. Think Pop Fizz's beast form.

did anyone see the interview with activision on youtube? Acti development guy flat out denied that crash would be a skylander. Says he loves crash, but the character does not fit the genera for skylanders, needed his own way back into game life. I will look for the video right now

I hope he is not a skylander. Skylanders is Spyro's game. No Crash needs his own game.

BOTH games have proved Skylanders is NOT Spyro's game. In fact, his role as de facto leader isn't even mentioned in the cutscene for Giants (unlike SA).

It's just a game with Spyro in it (and Cynder and Sparx), there's no reason they can't bring Crash into it and two more Crash related characters as well. The cop-out answer of personality differences is just a cop-out.

I feel like Aku Aku could be a magic item... (or a Double Trouble variant...)

They still would be as unique as it originally was (considering it was a spin-off of a cancelled Spyro game). Spyro and Crash have history together anyways. It's not like people are asking for Earthworm Jim.

In all seriousness, who owns the rights to Crash right now? I know Activision has Spyro, and if they own Crash as well, I wouldn't put it past them.

In all likelyhood he's just going to get his own game again, much like how Spyro got absorbed into the Skylanders franchise. I guess we'll see in any case.
