Has Drobot been nerfed? [CLOSED]

I was playing Skylanders just now against my brother. He used his level 7 LightCore Drobot against my level 8 Series 2 Zap and I won. Afterwards, he said that he thought that Drobot's lasers fire slower than they did in Spyro's Adventure when I used my Drobot against him. I don't see it personally, but does anyone else think that he fires slower in Giants? Have any other characters recieved nerfs or buffs in the new game?

Dino-Rang throws slower in Giants vs SSA, too. Very noticeable.

I Got drobot today and i thoughthe was supposed to be awesome. His damage is low and hes slow.plus his thrust steeres aweful. Barely beat bash and flashwing owns him. Bottom line this guy sucks.

I noticed this immediately! She's my go-to character for mowing through enemies and doing chapters/sections quickly, and I use her flip to get around quicker. It's slower, and I feel like I detect a larger delay between when you can flip again. Which sucks! I've heard it said that classic characters are crippled, I wonder if these are examples.... Like, would S2 Stealth Elf flip faster?

Drobot has totally been nerfed. The laser fire rate has gome down noticably, and to compound with this crap: the level cap has made his low damage get the job done much slower, which it does not even do often anyhow thanks to his nerfs. Granted I did not find him as strong as people said in Spyro's adventure, as I could beat him with Double trouble, Bash, Whirlwind, and more, he is now getting lowered severely in my PERSONAL tiers.

Has anyone compared S1 vs S2 to see if there's a difference? My guess isn't that they are hating on the characters, but rather trying to make it more of a fair fight. I think a blind man can complete the levels with pimped out skylanders on SSA.

RIP GhostRoaster. He's reanimated as TakeYourLemons but occasionally is resurrected from the beyond when needed.

i only have the s2 legendary, and id say her flips are far from quick, quicker then running normally but not by a substantial amount, and there is a delay between flips.

they nerfed her because she was the most powerful from SSA, just as ghost roaster was nerfed from the ps3/xbox version of SSA.
and some of them have been 'buffed' as they were too weak, i believe hex received a buff (beyond that of her wowpow, but it doesnt spring to mind what that was smilie)
they take the new games as an opportunity to rebalance the game as they cant patch that in with the current game design.

im sure in SSF there will be further nerfs/buffs to characters

I have to wonder with all these comments about how so many characters have been nerfed, is it really that the gameplay has changed that much from SSA to SG, or is it just that everyone here was playing SSA on PS360 and there were always more differences between the versions that the obvious ones everybody already knew about. Having gone from playing SSA Wii to SG Wii, I have to say that I really haven't noticed any substantial differences. Admittedly, I don't have any worthwhile PVP opponents and I haven't spent a whole lot of time on most characters after getting them fully upgraded, so maybe I just don't have enough time on these characters to be able to pick out the differences. But even on the ones I am more familiar with and that were supposedly changed a lot, there just hasn't been anything substantial enough to grab my attention.

Everyone shouldn't have to suffer for long, Drobot's WOW Pow makes up for his lasers.

i played it on the ps3, and you're right, most of the changes came into effect on the Wii's release of SSA so people who played the wii version probably dont notice much if any change.
