There's not new elements but each SwapLander has ..well...there's not really a name for it yet. I'd call them "Attributes". Whatever the things are on their bases could be considered an "element" I suppose, since they differ from each character.

I think that's jus a way for Activision to make money because the kids will be all "Mommy can you buy me freeze blade, I can't get the hidden hat without him!"

It is cool to the people that are getting all the swap force characters though, more fun and excitement!

That's like saying Neapolitan isn't a flavor but it's just Strawberry, Chocolate and Vanilla. The mixed elements and mobility attributes kind of make for new elemental flavor combinations while still consisting of existing ingredients...Translation: New Flavors, err Elements. I do realize that's a stretch but there it is all the same.

No new elements BUT with swappability, you have a mix of two elements. So, in theory, you have about 64 different "elements"

What about the elements of Light and Darkness? Their pedestals should be a flat yellow sun with eight curved points that lights up on the portal and a glow-in-the-dark crescent moon with little craters on a flat transparent black disc indicating the moon phases.
