I would wager that Pokemon XY will come out on the 2nd Sunday of the month (probably the 13th) and I'd doubt they'd want to launch on the same day as Pokemon so, my guesstimate is that they'll launch Swap Force on the 27th.

Was it hmmmm, I thought it was a Tuesday. I honestly don't remember but yeah the 20th then if it's a Sunday.

Sundays are the traditional day that new toys are street dated, like movie toys. I believe it's statistically the day of the week where the most "merchandise" is sold, so I guess it makes sense since Skylanders is toy driven as well.

Tuesdays are the traditional day of the week that video games and movies are street dated with a few Friday releases here and there. That's why when SSA came out initially I was confused as to why they would release on Sunday, then I realized the huge toy component made Sunday a much more appropriate day.

It makes since for Sunday too since most if not all sales go from Sunday til Saturday closing. Also since T.R.U. is a major backer they usually do some sale for launch.

me too. i asked my TRU abd they said they had boxes. XD


itd be pretty funny to release it 4 months before they said.

^ever since Activision/VV finished the SSA 3ds game. smilie they work in collaboration with TFB while TFB is making Giants. its to space the time out and give the 2 developers time to improve the gameplay but can still be released yearly. its an Activision game so making money is their motto. smilie
