I'm only excited for Roller Brawl and Wash Buckler. What's in the Portal Owners pack? I mean, which Skylander or Swap Force? obviosly smilie's returning. She's boss! Same maybe with smilie, smilie, smilie, and possibly smilie and smilie.

^ 2 Swap Force and 1 S3 in the Starter Pack, no Portal Owners Pack. Not 100% confirmed who. I want Freeze Blade and Stink Bomb so much! I like the idea of Freeze Bomb.

Based on the last 2 years, it'll most likely be Wash Buckler and Blast Zone as the Swap Force characters and Stealth Elf as the returning character - since Wash Buckler and Blast Zone were the two focuses of the trailer and Stealth Elf is the only returning character we've seen so far.

I kind of agree. This almost feels like a completly different series - when I see some game play for old 'landers, it'll feel like Skylanders again smilie

I agree! :3 I think the other two Skylanders games will be boring after playing SF! smilie
It looks like a good 3D-Platformer, sadly it gives not many 3D-Platformers more. :/

Gameplay looks excellent, more at fun, it's more dynamic, better minigames, JUMPING!!! etc! VV is great :3 I really hope they make a Crash reboot!

weird.

anyway the concept is interesting but I am not so fond of the character designs anounced thus far. the only one I really like is stink bomb that skunk looking one and the octopus pirate.

they really need to work on bumping up the figure quality. I know these are prototypes but they still don't look good.

I assume that the data for coins and attacks is carried in the upper half of the figure while the lower half has its own upgrades for speed.

It just occurred to me that we've got people who mod Skylanders already and maybe they got the idea for Swap Force from the mods? There's some mods with, if I'm not mistaken, magnets and also some with joints for moveability? Wouldn't it be funny if they really did get inspired by our figure modding?

As far as prices go I think the Swaplanders will cost about the same as lightcores and that prices will remain constant for all other figures.

I think the starter pack will be the same price as giants was on first release. as the portal is new there will be no portal owners pack.

and as far as acronyms go, maybe its about movement types:

aerial
Powered

Problem is those ebay listings'll have anything in them. Unless we get something more solid, like...oh, an interview video from Acti at toy fair saying this we just won't know if it's true. I still remember oh so many times calling TRU and Gamestop, only to get bull answers. Sometimes there's legit info and sometimes not. Hopefully we'll get some answers sooner rather than later.

I want to say a theory of mine about the S3 characters...

There were 24 last time, 8 left over, they mentioned Boomer coming back, which might mean them reposing all the old ones. So if they repose the Giants, New Skylanders, and Old Skylanders, that makes 24 again.

Then there was the Stealth Elf repose, which might mean that they are reposing all the ones that haven't been reposed and 8 fan favorites, keeping the pattern of 32.

They said only 16 fan favorites in SSF. I imagine - and hope - that 8 of those are the remaining Series 1 that didn't get the Series 2 treatment, and 8 others. We know Stealth Elf is one, so that leaves out my theory of the 8 Newlanders from Giants being the other 8.
