we do not know this not all are revealed and there should be 2 series 3 for each element

With 16 reposes, we can kind of guess that the 8 from SSA will get reposes, and 8 characters that are "fan favorites", so probably Spyro, Gill, Trigg, Eruptor, etc. Ones that are used in their marketing a lot.

I hope Flameslinger gets a S3 pose.

Surely they have to drop Eruptor? How much more can you do with that figure?

I hope they don't drop Eruptor. Really hoping the S3 news is accurate on that one. He's by miles my son's favorite character, and this time, I wouldn't be shocked to see a Legendary version. That would be awesome.

Overall, I'm happy with what I see here. An emphasis on new characters, scant reposes of guys who already had a repose, no reposed Giants (THANK YOU!), and a gimmick my son is going to love. I even like the way the new portal looks. Honestly, I'm approaching this with much less trepidation than I did Giants.

I like stealth elf. The more the merrier for me. But more reposes? Come on. Who wrote to them asking for more? *holding a club*

At least hopefully half of the reposes will be the shorted 8 from SSA, then there will only be 8 from there. Some of those 8 could be newlanders from SG so there might not be many S2/S3 doubles.

At least these reposes are poised to look massively different in-game. This is clearly not the same old Stealth Elf in a different pose; it's a palette swap, like Gnarly Tree Rex and Punch Fizz. Remember how we generally like those, you guys? It's like that.

^ Good point, if the S2 repeats into S3 are all color pallet changes then it's easier to see the new value they provide.

So, how does one make their collection of Skylanders look good, when you have 5 varietys of the same figure?

You put them all next to each other.

This is true, but again...what can you do with Eruptor?

I'm sure they'll think of something. I mean, they launched a Cupid Flameslinger character on Lost Islands and that works, they're going to be releasing a St. Patrick's Day Boomer afterwards... and I suspect that'll work out too. Even if it's just Eruptor with volcanic rock on him, they'll design it in a way to make it cool and distinct. I hope.
