Now that Thumpback and Eye-Brawl are officially out everywhere in the US, I guess that means that all we've got left to do with Giants is wait for the last wave to appear, although who knows when that will be. The only characters left (not including variants) to release are:

Ninjini
Jet-Vac(?)
S2 Spyro
S2 Wrecking Ball
S2 Drobot
LC Hex
LC Chill
LC Pop Fizz

Am I forgetting anyone? One giant, three S2's, and three LightCore figures. Seems like just enough to make up one more wave. I don't think there's any way for them to stretch it any longer than that.

Did you read my post? I said I wasn't counting the variants, since they're not typically included in normal waves, just as store exclusives usually.

And as for Jet-Vac, I'm not sure about him. Since he was in the starter pack, I don't know if he'll get a single release. But then again, so was Cynder, and she just got a single release, so we'll see.

I think they can stretch two more waves. Three lightcores in one wave? Unlikely.

For SSA they released 4 at a time towards the end.

Honestly, I am starting to think they're going to stretch this out to 5 waves. I don't see them finishing in 4. The reason I say this, is because -

1: There are still 3 LC's to release
2: If they do a Chop Chop and Zap single pack, they have 5 more Series 2 to release
3: If they do Shroomboom, Hot Dog, and Jet-Vac single packs, they have 3 more Newlanders to release
4: Still 4 Ingame Variants to release
5: Still 3 more Triple Packs to release

Now, let me go into detail.

I don't see wave 4 being the last, because I always see them releasing Ingame Variants throughout the waves of figures. So, they could get out 3 more Ingame Variants between wave 3 and 4, and 4 and 5, while the 4th could come afterward.

I don't see them releasing ALL 3 remaining LC figures in one box for wave 4. Two, sure, since there is only one new Giant in wave 4, but not all 3. I say 2 in wave 4, 1 in wave 5.

I can't see wave 4 Series 2 looking like this -

x2 Shroomboom
x2 Jet-Vac
x2 Hot Dog
x2 Fright Rider (we all know he will be back in wave 4)
x1 Spyro
x1 Wrecking Ball
x1 Chop Chop
x1 Zap

This leaves no room for Drobot, and no room for Series 2 figures from waves 1, 2, and 3. However, we do know - supposedly - that single packs for Chop, Zap, Shroom, Hot Dog, and Jet Vac are coming. Everytime a Newlander is in a box of 12, they are ALWAYS 2 to a box. Not happening like this.

As for Triple Packs, they are always packed in boxes of 6, 3 of each to a box. They can't do 3 Triple Packs in a box of 6 without messing up their flow. I see Triple Packs 7 & 8 being wave 4, and Triple Pack 9 being in wave 5.

I will have fun for a bit. This is maybe how I see wave 4 and 5 going

Not all people bought the Starter Pack. Or LC Jet Vac.

What you say makes sense GM, except that I don't think we'll see single packs of Hot Dog, Zap, Chop-Chop, or ShroomBoom. I don't remember what source we heard from that said they were getting singles, but unless it was straight from Acti or TFB, I'd be skeptical. Single packs of Cynder and Jet-Vac are one thing. They came in the $80 starter pack, so it makes sense they'd be made more widely available. However the others just came in the battle packs, which were easy to find and no more expensive than a three pack. It doesn't make sense to package them all individually as well. We never got single releases of Terrafin, Ghost Roaster, Slam Bam, or Sunburn in SSA did we? This seems like pretty much the same thing to me.

Besides they're stretching it out till summer 2013

Y i think its posted somewhere that the waves are surpsoe to last till summer, seeing how its only Jan, we got 6 months to go.
