If you go to the Activision support site, create an account and add Skylanders to your list of games it gives you two options:
1. Skylanders Spyro's Adventure
2. Skylanders Spyro's Adventure Re-Mastered Disc (NA only)
Does this mean there is an updated disc that fixes the bugs? If so... will looking at the box at the store tell you which one is included? I wouldn't mind having an updated disc and an extra portal...

Hmm. I can't see it, even on the US support website

I'm on the US site... just create an account, then...
Click My Support. Select Wii and click Add Platform. In the bottom box start typing Skylanders and the two options will pop up. |

I have an EU account. What I'm saying is that I couldn't see it, even on the US website. It might be due to my account, but I don't see why that should make a difference because I can see other content that says "NA only", just nothing that says 'Remastered Disc'.
Edit: Ah, Wii version only. Yeah, it's most likely a bug fix for the Weapon Master thing. Maybe you can call and ask for a copy? |

If they fixed this, there really isn't any excuse for them not to release a PS360 Lightning Rod Heroic patch- Both were already bypassable and easy enough to fix, even if the WM glitch caused more uproar.
They also need to release it for PAL regions- if it fixed a lot of other glitches as well, I would actually happily pay again for it. Hear that Acti? *jingles bling cash* |

They might have snuck them into the original package, a long time after release, so the ones that we see now have the Remastered version in it.. *goes to Walmart and tears open Wii starter pack*

I e-mailed them over a week ago but still no response... I don't see anything on the new boxes at the store that would indicate a newer version, maybe it says on the game case inside.

If you have one of the XPEC versions of Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, is it really worth grabbing the Wii version too? I mean, is it significantly different? Any thoughts?
I've been considering getting the Wii version of Spyro's Adventure too, but I'm still on the fence. If I do decide to pick one up though, I'll be sure to report back on whether it has a remastered disc included since I know the bug should be pretty easy to trigger.
