I am Skybagel, and I shall attempt something that no player has done before.

A challenge of epic proportions.

Using my 36 Series 1 Skylanders (no Dark Spyro), I will attempt to beat Skylanders Giants on Nightmare.

OK, pretty lame, right?

WRONG.

"Nuzlocke" style means that once a Skylander is out, it's out. This means that if one of my Skylanders runs out of energy, it won't be coming back for the rest of the challenge.

Wait... Cool... But still a little... Meh.

That ain't enough for ya?

In order to avoid switching out to prevent death, ANY Skylanders 399 Health or under can NOT be switched out.

Whaaaaaaat? STILL you are not satisfied?

No Magic Items, no Battle Pack Items, and NO new characters... this includes the Giants!!!!!

You better be satisfied.

Version 1.0.1 (8/30/12): Drill Sergeant Trained, Magic Items can be used once per difficulty instead of the whole challenge.

Version 1.0.2 (8/31/12) Bash, Legendary Bash, Legendary Spyro, Legendary Chop Chop, Slam Bam, and Voodood all trained today! A lot of progress today, aswell. Only 5 more left to train!

Version 1.0.3 (9/1/12) Warnado, Camo, and Sunburn Trained! All I have left to train are Boomer and Wham Shell (Who I have yet to find)!

Version 1.0.4 (9/1/12) In order to avoid switching out to prevent death, ANY Skylanders under 300 Health can NOT be switched out.

Version 1.0.5 (9/20/12) I FINALLY FOUND FREAKING WHAM SHELL!!!!! All I have left to find is Boomer!

Version 1.0.6 (9/20/12) Wham Shell trained. Again, all that's left is Boomer!

Version 1.1.0 (10/17/12) May not be getting Boomer, so... MOVING ON TO THE NEXT STAGE!!!!! Changed "ANY Skylanders under 300 Health can NOT be switched out." to 399 Health (because of Trigger Happy), and renamed Ironman Challenge to "Nuzlocke" Challenge.

Version 1.2.0 (10/22/12) Giants is out!!!!! Moving on to the next step!!!!! "Nuzlocke" Challenge will start very soon!!!!!

Version 1.3.0 (10/22/12) I am done with my regular blind play through! Time to start the challenge! Also, I am not going to have Normal or Hard Mode as part of the challenge anymore, I am just going to start with Nightmare. Also, no more Magic Items.

Sounds like a good idea, although I would be interested to see video of it if you were able to do so!

Seeing that a giant comes with the game, starter and owner packs, you will most likely need a giant to get through the story.

i guess feats of strength are exceptions. btw, challenges like this aren't exactly original, good luck tho!

I am going to use to show how awesome he is

Wrecking Ball is probably going to die in level 4 or so.

WB isn't very good. He's weak down any path.

And my S1 Zap is down tesla dragon.

My is down ultimate spinner and I have mastered it so I can beat this game with him and so is my zap

I'm also planning on doing a Nightmare run with Crusher, then another with Chill.

I am doing a solo run with pop fizz and ninjini.And also am doing it with the other giants and skylanders

I'll try this run with my Stealth Elf, or Bash..

EDIT: Screw Bash, I might use a Giant just to even it out..

yeah, ill probably do a nightmare run with my L CHOPPEH, people say he's not very good, but i beat most heroic challenges with him and im quite skilled.

I'll form a team of 8 skylanders and go through the hardest difficulty first, with them all on level one.

Interesting idea. I thought about doing a nuzlocke with S:sa but I decided against it as the game was just too easy. depending on the dificulty level with giants this might be worth doing.

Actually, you don't, one of the developers said you can JUST play with say... Spyro if you want to. You don't NEED any particular Skylander, just having a Giant gives you bonus.

You can do whatever you want. The only reason I said give me credit is so you don't pass off the same idea as your own.

But, yeah, anyone can do ANYTHING they want and post about it, all you have to do is just say "Idea from Skybagel" or something little like that.

I am not satisfied. Reset your skylanders and then do it. Also, i bet if you uploaded it to youtube, you would get lots of views. I'm a youtube partner from uploading Giants news with over 295,000 views. I think you can do well too!

Why should I reset all my Skylanders? I worked very hard. I am not uploading this to youtube, I am just having fun with it and letting you guys know how I did and giving you ideas. Congrats that you are a Youtube Partner, though!

I have to agree that it's WAY too easy if you don't reset your skylanders,I could probably do it with only 8 skylanders at level 10

He probably means that "Nightmare difficulty IS hard!"

I will play through the game on Hard first with even the new characters, this will be my training.
Then, I will start from easy and use only the 8 un-reposed Skylanders. THIS IS S1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Once I get to Nightmare I will bring any fainted ones back in. (Unless they are all fainted, then I have failed.)
I will also ( If I complete this ) Do it with 2 Giants and 2 New ones... These shall be: Jet-Vac, Shroomboom, Crusher & Eye Brawl.

You have to use a giant.
I will do it on hard with only the ones in my signature + S1 S1 S1 and S1 .

After which I will do it on nightmare with only

No Dark Spyro... I don't even own a 3DS.

I have all 36, hoping to buy 3DS version and make a custom/articulated Stealth Elf and give Ignitor to my friend.

Me and Terrafin would kill this!

As Skylanders Giants is coming up and this topic is actually going to fufill its purpose, I had to post.

The post is that I may not be able to get Boomer by the 21st, so it may just be 35/36 of the Series 1.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to starting the challenge this Sunday!

Hours of hard work? Sorry, but you must be really bad with the XP.

When I am done trying some of the other paths on some of my series 1 figures and then get them all on the correct paths, plus getting the giants game, I'm trying this out. Except with

I should have gotten Boomer when I could... I never expected him to become rare.
