Right, Dark Spryo from the 3DS pack for SA was a "one off" like this "Punch" variant will likely be as well. I bet they just changed the gauntlet colors when they sent it final production, or as it happens often the factory didn't use the correctly requested color when producing them.

regular: soda (blue)
red: fruit punch
white: vodka

BUT to be more on-topic! Even though I hate the idea and variants in general, I must admit, I appreciate the execution of this one... Very good for me since I'm getting the 3DS pack anyway, so I can happily get a LightCore version of the regular.

I'm just glad they're going away from legendaries a bit and being more unique

I would imagine so but only on the 3ds like darkspyro did, if not the he will most definantly be a different colour in game.

I doubt well see a legendary pop fizz. The lightcore went to him, and spyro is lengendary. Of the six legendary, they are 6 different elements.

I see shroomboom and jet-vac getting nods since their elements don't have one and they are with the new guys. I know that gives us three each jet-vac, pop-fizz, an shroomboom, but that really only puts them on par with many of the others.

Though seeing how Life doesn't have a legendary nor does a giant and since two of the 3 in the starter pack of the first game had a legendary Tree rex could have a legendary form.

Does this mean that Jet Vac will get a variant for the consoles? Or will it be the lightcore version?
