I don't really see why you'd want to get the series two figs. Your series one figs aren't going to be worth much at all come Giants, and remember you can't sell them yet since some aren't getting reposes. By then, the figures will have gone down in value even more. The new figs may look better, but don't have much of a difference. Let's face it, you're going to be losing at least £30 since some are just unsellable(Wrecking Ball, Chop Chop, Bash etc), and the only ones where you can get decent money on are Camo, Warnado and Wham Shell.

I wish it was as easy as hunting shiny pokemon was back in Diamond/Platinim with the Pokeradar! Or how easy it will be in Black two when you get the Shiny Charm Ahh if only skylander hunting was that easy!

Back on topic, has anyone found Red Drill Sergeant yet? Does anyone think we will get Red Drill Sergeant? I think we will-we did get Blue Bash after all, and in bigger numbers.

I hope we do get Red Drill Sergeant, but then I wonder what shop would get the exclusive rights to it. I would hope not ASDA since mine doesn't sell Skylanders

I really hop we get it to... i don't see why not seeing as we got blue bash! Does anyone know how long after amiraca we got that? Pretty sure it'll be asda and i'm sure they'll sell them online too because both asdas near me are atleast 30mins away and as far as i know BOTH dont stock figures.

When did we start to get Blue Bash in after America? I don't think it was long-less than a month I reckon but I could be wrong. I'd expect the Red Drill Sergeant to be around the same waiting period-but this is Activision, so I'm probably wrong. They just love being unpredictable with releases it seems.

We don't get news on figure releases, they just show up in the stores. I was in an small Asda two days ago and a larger one a l out a week ago but still no sign of Red Drill Sarg yet.

I'll be hitting up Toys R Us + Smyths Cribs next week. Kind of want Camo and Drobot triple..............all though my bank balance is suffering so I'm not sure if I can afford to treat myself.

I'd say treat yourself to atleast one! Everyone deserves a treat now and then! Heck, i just treated myself to a flocked stump smash! And @Buzzthebatgirl - I know they just turn up in stores Just wanted to know if anyone had seen them about! All of them are at a not too wallet straining £4.

They also have the Annual 2013 under the hardbacks section also for £4.

The novel, Machine of Doom, is cheaper to preorder from Amazon however for £3.60.

Sainsburys also have the Brady Games guide for £4.99. I didn't want it but for that price I may as well just get it to add to the collection.

EDIT: Also has anyone heard what is supposed to be in the books? I have the Master Eon's one ordered, which I expect to be pretty much the same as the official guide but more kid friendly, and the Book of Elements, which I expect to include all of the ingame stats and moves from the other guide as well as more in depth back story for the characters involved.

I've been walking past my local toy shop restraining myself from buying the Camo triple. I already have Ignitor, my husband has claimed him though so having another wouldn't be a bad thing but I'm waiting to hear about whether Camo and Warnado are getting a repose... I might just try and wait.

Looks like for me there are not many lightcore/remodels that I want so if all that info is true I'm pretty happy...wont say which in case people dont want spoilers

Unfortunately, as of this spoiler-filled post we still don't know the fate of either Warnado or Camo. It has yet to be confirmed either way if they are to be re-released.

The worrying thing for me is that the triple packs listed ...well nothing that I really want. I am very reluctant to buy singles as it works out more expensive in the long run. I'd buy triples even if there was only one in the pack I wanted

My plans for giants are
- all Undead
- all dragon
- most probably all giant
- lightcore/remodels of the above
- all legendarys

Although at this point in my collection I just feel like saying 'screw it' and buying the rest. Might just buy the starter sets when they come out and wait to see which triple sets/expansions come out. Every penny counts..........I just broke open my piggy bank to scrape up the pennys in case I see Camo in town

*EDIT* my card slipped and I bought Empire of Ice. I dont like Slam Bam but the expansion sets are all good

I'm not overly impressed with Slam Bam myself but the level was pretty good, it's worth it imo. I don't use the items as much as I thought I would but that goes for all adventure pack items really.

Yeah someone told me it was a great level to play....

Tesco Home - £7.99. Had adventure packs, Dragons peak in stock. Also saw jsut TWO Dark Spyro singles.
GAME - 3 for 2 on singles. Singles £8.99. ONE CAMO TRIPLE AT £22.99. Was so tempted as I really want a Camo.

I'm not sure if this has already been posted anywhere but Tesco have started selling the Skylander books Master Eon's guide and Machine of Doom in their shops now (I saw them both in the kids books section at Tesco Extra in Broughton shopping park today). Master Eon's guide is like a strategy guide for the characters and game.

Argos is a terrible place to get anything like this that is collectible and has the same SKU. You don't know what figure will come down the chute and even if you have asked for a certain one you cannot gurantee what condition it'll be in when you get it. Add the fact that Argos is overpriced on nearly everything and it suprises that they are still around, but then again I suppose handing a child an Argos catalogue just before Christmas is still the thing to do.

Nothing at the moment. Asda don't seem to be interested. They're selling some figures at 3 for £14, which is the normal buy 2 get one free as with most other retailers on the overstock on singles. Should be get BOGOF next month or two before giants.

Don't know if anyone's picked up on this yet, so I'll post it anyway, but both Tesco Direct and TRU have got a 2 for 3 offer on single packs ATM. Tesco Direct is cheaper than TRU and have more figures in stock than TRU. I was planning to buy Cynder, Camo and Whirlwind from TRU - but the other day Whirlwind and Camo went out of stock; however these two figures (along with many others) are still in stock on Tesco Direct.
